Damn it! i know that! do you get what am saying, it has opened FULLY (Just Split) I reckon when it opens more the tap root will swing clockwise, if your with me?

Greetings Cheo,

In all fairness m8, you didn't actually mention that the seed had split open yinyang.gif. Personally I would put them into the root riots as normal, root down. I'm sure that someone with more expertise will be along shortly to give you more information.

I would like to ask you a question though. Why did you put the seed in a glass of water for 24 hours, if you are putting them into root riot cubes. The reason I ask is that I always use root riot cubes to plant seeds, but I put the seeds straight into the cubes, then give the cubes a light misting of water, then into the propagator covered with a towel, and then entombed into my cabinet. I usually get a high germination rate, but everyone has their own method, so I suppose I've answered my own question rofl.gif.

Anyway, sorry I couldn't be of more help but good fortune with the rest of your grow.

Peace and one love

Thanks soldier mate, The only reason i have done it this way is because it was my last Fem Euforia and was going to pot it in westlands+ with added JI. BUT after looking through the compost im not sure its as good as people make out, Each hand full of compost you get 50% Stones, So i decided today that it will go in Root Riots for around a week then into westlands.

I have prepared this by sieving all the stones out,

I come across this yesterday after having planted 4 Fem euforia 2 nearly weeks ago and 3 of em failing, Maybe this was fault of my own but i reckon the taproots has hit a stone and just pushed itself out and died. also i dont think i planted them deep enough.

There is one living and one been revived as this has a nice looking tap root still but looks dull where its joined the seeds. any idea's?

So tonight i have tryed a few different ways to germinate.

1. 1x Blue Cheese (barneys farm) in damp Root Riot. Been placed in box and put in the back of grow room.

2. 1x Blue Cheese (barneys farm) in Sieved Westlands (also damp) 4'' Pot covered with clingfilm and popped into box in back of grow room.

3. 1x 24hour pre-soaked Fem Euforia Popped into Riot Cube(in the same box has Blue cheese.

So lets see what happens in the next few days cool.gif

Cheers cool.gif

I planted 4 Pre-soaked Euforia 11 days ago and only have one in survival, 3 that died come to the surface but never made any more progress cry.gif Gutted! How deep do you plant?

I find pre-soaking the RR's with rhizo helps, but they need to be damp not wet. Also I put them in hinge up and 2mm down.

BUT - the best germ method (most successful) I've used is straight into coco. It's safe and very reliable - just put them in a heated prop (15 quid, B&Q)
