are my girls getting less light than they would like under the twin wall 4mm polycarb stuff? i say this as i notice there is more strong warmth outside in direct light than inside under the sheeting. I have a north facing lean to style mini greenhouse and it takes till mid afternoon for the sun to reach it and then only for four hours max, condensation can stay on the inside of the roof for most of the day. I have not seen any mold as they are well spaced and trained apart however they are not so big being in 10 litre pots and started june 1st. Biddy sister and early durbans. I want to chop em now as trichs are on the leaves and prefer the uplift rather than couchlock. So they kicked off at the end of august would i be a really silly bugger to take em down now, i notice over tha last two weeks they budding up well but very few brown hairs if any. Wouldve done a grow diary but was to para to photo and log my grow aswell as not really trusting the total anonimity of the internet.

Hi Woahdang, I am just as confused about the time to chop - mine has been flowering 8 weeks - all pistils are brown and have been for a couple of weeks (although I have a Sat that has gone wild on me and had to be trussed up and producing tiny spaced buds which are slowly plumping up).

I am waiting for the trichs to turn brown which I am assuming they all do.

Have you taken any off, dried and smoked it ? I did this last week and smoked it yesterday (not quite dry - but impatience got the better of me) - and it was OK - very heady - but for me, could have been better - would rather a bit more couch I think - but at least I know it will be smokable.

I have the same prob at the moment with lack of sun - the trees around seem to have put on some height and with the sun being lower in the sky, they get a bit of dappled sun - then a bit more later in the afternoon. I have been getting them out when it is sunny though and hopefully before long the leaves will start to fall on the trees so the sun will get through which is good as I have one that still has about 4+ weeks to go.

I only have one bit of mould on the stem (where it broke and was repaired) but I do wipe off any condensation from roof every morning just in case.

I dont know anything about lighting though as have only ever grown in greenhouse so hope someone will be able to help you.

would the flash of a camera damage phoytoperiod at night? really wanting to chop as dark saloon was outside neighbours house 2day, brushed up the lovelys and took a bud lower but a bit not much top colas look a couple a grams though maybe oz for the 6? really damped off a bit early and too cold so nth facing g house aint great should of gone gorilla but sciatica fucked me up this year, will post a pic soon. But early should mean by now surely, thing is i wasnt to up on the genetics and i hear a strong strain needs mid oct to get that couchlock but will i get much more bud? enjoyed the clear trich high before so just dont wana get it in 2 premature. Gota figure out drying too cleaned some jars today but looks too big for what i got,moan.
