Hi guys 1st grow , 1 or 2 of my 8 are nearing the chop with brown pistils outnumbering the white considerably. I only have the one room in the garage and i don't want to be drying in the house with the kids about . Any suggestions where i can dry these plants please , would it be ok in the growroom or is light a no no . Many thanks in anticipation .

Preferably you want to dry in a well ventilated, DARK, cool place to prevent any molds. I use a large cardboard box, run string throughout it at different levels and cut large squares/holes on 2 sides of it. This help keeps it in the dark but decently ventilated. Biggest things to worry about are again, temperature, direct light on buds, and humidity. Perhaps you could box it up like this (also, don't let the buds touch each other, space them on the strings), and maybe stick it in your attic, with a small oscillating fan to circulate the air around the box.

I think it must be beginners luck all leaves are nice and green , took 8 cuttings ready for the next grow and all rooted and looking healthy . I hope i don't go messing it all up in the drying process

Artenius has it right.... I am drying two outdoor plants in my garage (which is attached to the house) and after just arriving home today have noticed that it now mildy reeks of drying weed in the utility room (which is next to the garage)... - If your garage is attached smell may come through... beware.. of course you could just hang the weed in a box with holes at the top of your grow room/drobe/cupboard and that will then take care of the smell with your carbon filter.. of course it will dry quicker too (heat/humidity/etc.) which may (or may not ) be what you want..
I am hoping the wife doesn't notice... and its too much weed to dry in my little grow cupboard with the CF in it anyway... oh the agony...
