I started 5 Caribe seeds off this eve as i was seduced by the description,and also because many years ago i was lucky enough to try a very,very nice sensi seeds nl5xhaze and im hoping the Caribe has been made from a similar pheno.

Im not too sure what the jamaican actually offers to the Caribe high but im hoping its very special

Now today ive been researching this strain and i would have to say i can totally see the point in a 30day veg at the least,i did an Afropips grow and even though he recommends 12/12 from seed i was disappointed with the yield even though i gave them some veg time.

The thing i need answers to are some comments about Caribe being a nice daytime smoke,the meaning of this i took to mean a nice but weak smoke,yet NL5xhaze absolutely blew me away and even to this day i still remember it as one of the best smokes ive tried.

I hope someone can help and put my mind at rest,but theres not been many diaries on here so info is a little hard to come by,but im looking for real trippy,heart racing,hot flushes weed.

Anyway i shall be starting a diary as soon as there is anything to see

I agree HH, whys it so tough to get any caribe info? Anyways man, Im just finishing up a caribe outdoor grow. Ive taken pre samples and can definately say it is not a "weak" line. I have 3 females from a pack and Ive noticed they all seem to be really nl5/haze dominant in the high. The great flavor of the JBM did translate thru tho nicely. I was hoping to find a more "lazy day" island good time vibe herb in the caribe, and I didnt find that...but potency and flavor are not lacking at all, and Id prolly keep it around if I didnt alrdy have a few nice haze hybrids. But I think its prolly just what your after from what you posted.

As a sativa lover I had to try "Caribe",I planted 4 seeds but lost 2(my fault),I had been lucky to obtain one male and one female of those 2 seeds.The plant who was showing the more vigor was the male.
I killed him anyway because this strain first looked too much indica ,and wasn't wath I was looking for;
Now I regret,cause I lost my female's cut.Even though she had an indica look my female,who took about 4 monthes from seeds(maybe a little more)to finish, gave me an very good quality weed,very good taste and smell and strong cerebral effect,thoug only cerebral,(I guess,sure i'm not the best for description being and heavy smoker),I dont recommend this strain for a everydaysmoke,allday smoke.
In early flowering she smelled like pineapple,but a peppery smell came and has been stronger and stronger in late flowering,the pineapple smell became more overripen fruit smell,and even remind me champain in taste and smell when the weed was dried.The main taste in this weed is a strong spicy peperry Flavor who remind me good nepalese hash I smoked in Holland,whith fruit,maybe flower and champain/yeast undertone.I sadly had nothing else really good to smoke to smoke when she was drying,so I havent cure her enough ; The description I do was after 10 day drying,plus 30 days max curing,and I'm sure this wonderfull complex taste could have been better whith more curing.
So this is my OWN opinion,whith my own words,based in a 1 single pheno experience so maybe not really the strain description but more my pheno's description
My Caribe was a little plant I should have vegged more(thought more sativa grow pattern was in it)and grown in bigger pot,but the weed and experience was excellent,and even though I havent had a big yield,I haven't loosed my time whith this one.

How many weeks did she take? Whats the smoke like?

I made a description of her post #4
I vegged her about 14 days,and this pheno took at least 14 weeks 12/12 to fully mature,(although an indica look).
My mistake was the shorter vegging period I gave her,lacking space and light in my growbox.
Do not hesitate to let "Caribe" veg for at least one month(More if you can).
To shorter the flowering period a little bit,I remember Cannabiogen description told to reduce light at 10on/14off at the end of flowering,what I couldn't do myself because I've got plants at different stages in the same box.
If you look for an original Hybrid,this one worth the time it need,giving an original,tasty powerfull smoke if well cured.
