Hello evry1,

I have some willow's and have noticed that most of them are developing yellow leaves with brown spots,

could it be down to the huge amount of rain we've had or is it some kind of desease,

also any advice on how to treat it...please save my willows as i am very proud of them and it gives me privacy from the nosy neighbours!!

What kind of Willows are they do you know? And are they contained at all? When do/did you prune if at all?

There's not a lot you can do about it now as all leaves will soon be starting to turn approaching autumn. I'm a tree surgeon & have noticed a hell of a lot of trees this year struggle with early dying leaves. The spring came very early again, & then temps dropped due to a cold snap so a lot of trees struggled. Beech, Sycamore, Horse Chesnut, Elm, Willow - all have struggled this year, apart from Oak & Ash which always come into leaf a bit later, but it's been a strange year all round.

All i know is that there not weeping willows and they are growing up and out.

The thing is i also have a 10ft tall sunflower on the same side of the garden and both the willows and sunflower's leaves are turning yellow with brown spots on them, could this be a fungus thing and is it treatable?

appreciate any help.
