...Well i got chatting to the guy about fem seeds and this n that to do with seeds..,started lookin at what he hadin stock there n then and WOLLAP there i was parting with 25brick on a pack of 5 fem BIG BUDDA CHEESE!.......

...well im kinda chuffedl;ikeitsxmas morning again coz iv been pondering doin one of the cheese range so i guess i am now,just dont know much about it...anyone who's grown it out could ya fill me in some please???

I have grown out this strain a couple of years ago, I had 2 mothers that were worth while keepers from 10 regular seeds. 1 of the mothers was what I was expecting really, a real afghani cheesy type smell and taste, it was an indica dominant pheno. The other mother was alot more sativa dominant, you could see this in the strech between the nodes when put into flower, and also the fingers on the leaves where more slender than the first mother. The more sativa dominant mother really did smell of cheese it was the stronger smoke out of the 2, it took about a week longer to finish than the first mother. Infact it is the only weed that I've ever grown that was so strong that it made my ears ring intensey. Personally it is one of my favourite strains, just make sure you got a good carbon filter because it stinks.

My BBCheese isn't smelling that much to be honest, I have to put my nose on it to get a wiff, but I am also doing white russian which stinks like no other! My BBC looks nice & sativa'ish, ripening nicely now at 9 weeks, recon it'll be a 10/11 weeker.

Not very big buds, but nice solid looking nuggets all over & I am very much looking forward to trying some now I see so many rating it so high. Took me 5 seeds to get a female and the males always smelt more in veg than this fem & looked more indica, this fem has thin pointy leaves so I do hope I have a nice pheno.

Its quite a variable strain to be honest, first lot we tried was absolutely amazing. Best smell and taste ever, 2nd pack though a year later had like 100th of the smell and pungency and flavor yet a good high and great yielder. I still dream about the first lot, it was the best smoke i've ever tasted and the strongest! But i'm left thinking that was a mutant within itself from what i've tried since.

... hmmm its a hard one .... i havn't tryed everything yet
BUT.... the move from Allmix to Batmix was defo a good choice.. although you will still need to add MG at some stage..
Obviously Use BioBizz Nutes... very easy to measure.. and my plants tell me they love it...
Use R.O water.. (something i need to do myself aswell) i think hard water is maybe causing the probs..???
SIEVE the batmix and "When mixing up soil, use 2 teaspoon dolomite lime per gallon of soil" it will help considerably... with MG def.

If yours still havn't cleared after dosing with MG it may be a lockout problem to do with the levels of Ca, Cl or ammonium nitrogen in your soil...
to sort that out you will need to ask someone else
not solved that one yet......

I didnt top..I just let it grow. I grow in a drobe. My next grow (this grow) i am doing them straight from cuttings, as soon as they have a root..they are in 12/12..so far they seem to be happy, 2 weeks on 12/12 and they seem to be flourishing.

I let it flower for 10 weeks. As said previously...highly recommend..

One bad thing though....

I have nearly smoked it all...it just dosnt last long enough...hehe. its just too good.

You have something to look forward to my man.I had heard so much about Big Buddhas Cheese,so of course I needed to try it out.I have 2 phenos going in flower at the moment.One of them,is very Sativa,and is probably going 10-14 days more than the other.The other is some of the sweetest and nice skunk I have come across in a long time.And the stink,well its smelling,but I think a strain like AK 47 is worse.But if you use a carbon filter you should be covered.But I think you will be surpriced in a good way.Its special.

Bizz, i got some bbc on the atm, very happy with em so far but not much smell as yet, but their only a few weeks in, check out my diary if you want to see the pics, gonna update a bit later today.

awww fellas my cheese have been soakin in water for about 30 hours now...no sign of cracking...ya think i should take em out the water n just plant em now???

i personaly wouldnt leave seeds to soak for longer that 24hr in water, you dont wanna drown em! just take em out and put em in paper towels/cottonwool slightly damp and put it in a container with cling film over the top.



p.s hows the other beans coming on, did the purplewreck crack ok?

I very nearly went for a Blue Cheese for my first grow and may for my second. The Cheeses seem to be brilliant strains.

Well done putting them in starter cubes. Give 'em a couple days of warmth, a bit of moist (but not too much) and darkness... and cross your fingers.

It's exciting stuff! I swear every morning feels like christmas when you're growing weed. I open my cabinet with such delight and anticipation.

I did the Root Riot starter cubes. I popped 4 seeds in and 5 heads came out. I got a twin! So yeah, I like the method, even if it was just lucky.

All 5 have cracked and looking gooood..
