Full Version: is this fan any good?
hey guys could any 1 tell me. would be any good for a 1m x 1m x 2m area or smaller? kinda on a budget u know? or could any one recommend a place to get a decent fan for exhaust for this area? cheers all
It's not that we don't like ebay item numbers, far from it. It's been removed in the interests of herb's security.
Most bathroom fans don't have the grunt to pull air through a carbon filter, and burn out fairly quickly if you run them 24/7.
I reckon yer best off with ruck or rvk as they're supposed to go non stop.. i think, dunno how long they last though, mine has been going for about a year and it sounds like it did new.

well i am in the process of sortin out a gro cupboard for my 1st grow- and so far i have been trying to cut corners and save cash the whole way along, which is seriously not the way to go about it! im to the point where im thinking i shud not jus make do with cheaper alternatives as eventually i will probably need to upgrade anyway, thus costing me more money in the long run!
anyway, from what i have already obtained, i have a 250 blue enviro, and my plan up until now was to get a 250 red and flower with both. can u get a decent 4 " fan and filter for my space running these lights, or like someone said- would quote but im in a rush soz- would a 4" fan not be powerfull enough to pull through a filter even if it was a ruck or rvk?

cheers for that peps- think im gunna head for the rvk 100mm now anyway- who knows i might end up going hps in the future! now its a question of do i go for filter and fan kit or just get fan and try an diy the filter? haha cutting corners again!!!!

keep posted as i will prob start journalin my first grow if anyone is interested... iv got two lifeless plants that im just keepin on 12 12 for the sake of it till i pop my blue cheese
conditions have been very far from perfect for the two living dead iv got flowerin at the mo, jus see wot happens!!
any way will keep u posted bout the cheese, shud b hopefully this wk/end
