ive just found at 4 weeks 12/12

one of my plants had some male flowers right underneath the buds

now ive killed it

there were about 5 that i found on lower branches


most of them werent open but 2 of them when i rubbed them powder flew off just outside the tent but with the door open(some could have possibly flew in?)

how will i know if my crops gonna be fucked(seeded)

coz i dont wanna find out right at then end that there are loads of seeds inside my nice looking budz

is there any way i can find out??

If it has got seeds in then i'm afraid its tough unfortunately

Like david says....whats a few seeds!!! Just means you'll have to pick out a few when you skin up. I was gutted with my crop before last because it had quite a few seeds on some of the plants, others only had a few but the weed was very potent still (and i'd chopped it early). Don't get too disheartened basically

its only 4 weeks in so not likely- there are no brown pistils all white

BUT these buds are hard as hel and pretty damn frosty

i know it wont be anywhere near as good as the ones which will go 8 weeks but wot u think

I'm pretty sure thats not true. Once a plant has been pollinated it puts all its energy into growing the seeds, which is just its natural way of trying to spread itself as much as possible. I don't think it would mature to the same extent once pollinated.

Edit: i could easily be wrong but it makes sense logically.

dont the pistils die back early in the calyxes that are pollinated?

Personally I prefer my cannabis to be totally free of seeds as I dont like to have to go through the trouble of picking them out of the buds before I smoke them, I also hate it when you accidently miss a seed and it pops in your joint or whatever.
I have found that buds with lots and lots of seeds in don't often have very good resin production, but I have also found that some buds with only a few seeds in still seems to be a fairly potent smoke.
I remember some buds that I grew years ago that accidently got pollinated by a hermaphrodite in the room and it resulted in a few seeds in each bud. I remember picking the seeds out and getting my fingers covered in resin doing so, the bud was also fairly potent.

but as i say they are seriously frosting up

im hoping that means they are not putting all theyre energy in to making seeds

but ive got some martian mean green x g13 haze in there that have only just started to bud so i cant tell whether these will frost up yet

Look at the trichs on the leaves man. Definately going to be smokeable. When you were first saying about them thought they were going to be tiny buds.

Id definately smoke them if I had the chance. Still going to be much better than most of the stuff on the street.

If you smoke a bit and decide its shit then just make some sort of hash from it

I just got some, only a tenner bag and that had 28 seeds in it! 28 seeds in a 1.7g of bud.

Should I just grow the fucking seeds or what? I have 28 seeds here!

Some are disformed, small, white etc but theres at least 20 doable ones.

The bud is fucking wank though!

Hmmm, but thats all down to the grower IMO, no weed is bad IMO, its wank because THEY made it that way, picking it too soon, letting it get absolutely crammed with seeds, or picking it too late, not letting it dry, letting it dry too much, so many factors.

The fact its full of seeds just sums the grower up I guess, whoever grew this crud.

Its a Sativa I wouldn't have the space, unless I do outdoors. But then I hate Sativa, can't get "stoned" off it and just feel like smoking spliff after spliff of Sativa, I don't rate it at all, even soap at least gets me stoned FFS, Sativa doesn't, well the 1st spliff maybe theres a bit of a hit to it but after that, a cocaine habit would be cheaper! I could easily smoke a Q of Sativa in one night and the only effect would be I am pretty thirsty, thats it.

When's the time for outdoors, May? I just wish these were BB seeds. Now that is 80% Indica and boy when you smoke it, you KNOW you're fuckin whacked off that stuff, damn man Sativa isn't anywhere even approaching the Blueberry effect, or any decent Indica like that where its not crossed with some crappy lets-not-get-stoned-today Sativa. Not that I am trying to start a debate its just my own preference. Seems like Indica is Coca-Cola and Sativa is "Mum's Cola" or fucking "No Frills" or whatever! Washing up water as Peter Kay calls it.

smoketillyouchoke - what are your temps like? have you interrupted the light cycle at any point?

just wondering if it's due to stress, as i'm growing fem seeds and there's a good chance of hermies. did you use fem seeds? i thought hermies were very rare in regular seeds.
