Just wondering what germing you guys use, I know there's more ways than those there but you can always tell me here.

Personally I find the paper towel method easiest and fastest.

i soak for 24 hours in weak nitrozym solution,

then in between 2 saucers and papertowels until they start to crack.........

I have found that placing the box/container that you put the seeds in while germing using paper towel method on top of your monitor for the first few days of germing usually means that you get 100% germination and usually within 72 hours!!!

I just stick them straight into rockwool cubes that have been soaked in ph 5.5 water for 24h

I put them at about 2 seeds depth and tease some strands of rockwool over the top.

The rockwool goes into a heated propagator until thay germ but I raise them off the base of the propagator with an empty cube tray.

straight into the rw cubes for me in the propogator and pop it into the airing cupboard
untill the seed germs and then out of the propogator straight into pots and under the light

I've never used rockwool before, does it improve the plant or speed of growth in any way?

It's generally used for indoors, and it's very easy to transplant without shock.

Well if it's an improvement on normal soil/paper towel germing then I might have to pay a little visit to the store and purchase some small germing cubes.

I presoak rockwool in weak nutrient solution that is pH balanced.

I have just bought some jiffy peat pellets though - gonna test them on the next grow.

My mother throws them out the window as she slaps me for selling the family ass.

soaked for 24 hours in an O2/water solution and then straight into rockwool cubes soaked in formulex.

I just plonk them straight into soil then moist and put into a propagator. It worked for me, 4 outta 5 and that's pretty good going for a newbie

I have tried the cup of water one, and the cd case with paper towels, but the best one I have found is just sticking them straight into the RW Cubes after 24 hour soaking, keep them in the dark until they sprout then stick them under the fluro, making sure the ones that are yet to sprout are still in the dark.
