Basically, first grow in a while and it'll also be the grow where i sort my environment etc. in my new cab.

Essentially i'm asking if theres any real noticable difference (apart from Nirvana's being F2's?) in the two that would overcome the price difference.
It's complicated because as said i don't think i'll give the weed a top quality environment, so maybe i'd be wasting the serious seeds ones? Who knows.

Any thoughts to help me out?

I would always go with the originals if possible.

nirvana could be a good choice to test/check the new grow space. If the space doesn't work too well or has teething problems, the cheap seeds won't be a waste.
I'm waiting to get that perfect space before I really splash out on quality genetics.

I grew AK48 a few years ago for my first attempt in Hydro. I cant compare it to the AK47 as i havnt smoked it but the taste of the AK48 wasnt all that even though it had a good flush. The effect was nice though, shame about the taste. I would try AK47 though.

In my opinion its just as much about supporting the original breeder with your money than how much yeild you get or good the high is etc.

Id always go with the Originals after all if you go for Nirvanas all your getting really is a pack of hacks for 15/20 pounds.

yeh dont use nirvana,iv grown theres but by what iv seen ud be better off goin wi the original.

I would definitely recommend spending the extra lids and getting the AK47. I've grown it twice and its a great plant, 100% germination most of the time with serious seeds, as well as 11 in the pack. I just put down 11 Chronic and 5 Bubble Gum 2 days ago, checked them earlier 16 taproots popping out. Personally i think serious seeds are a great company who supply quality seeds - with Nirvana, you don't know how selective their breeding has been and essentially you're getting a cheap knockoff (not really fair on people who invest their time and effort into creating good strains). If you do decide on SS, try topping a couple about a week before 12/12, comparatively was definitely a better yield in my experience

I have smoked them both and grown the AK47. I personally forund the AK47 to be head and shoulders above the AK48, I dont know if this was down to the fact that I had grown the AK47 myself and the AK48 was coffeeshop weed.
I would go with the AK47 myself if I had to make a choice between the two, also with the AK47 keep you eye out for different phenotypes as there will probably be some indica dominant ones and some more sativa dominant ones aswell.

Personally the 47 beats the 48 hands down. With taste and stoned effect. The only problem I got was the 47, which was more on the sativa side it grew as wild as a bramble bush where the 48 was more uniformed in it’s grow

ss seeds is a league away from nirvana in strains and so is the price depends if ur going to keep a mum then go the 47 if wanting a cheap decent smoke go with nirvana

Yeah but you will find a few keepers in the serious pack, ive grown out a few packs of nirvana and they are ok you'll find some decent plants, you'll also get a LOT of variation in the plants though, the serious stuff ive grown seems fairly uniform.

Personally id never buy nirvana again, im only buying from breeders with a reputation for quaility from now on, seriously whats an extra £3 per seed in the grand scheme of things?

Always use a reputable co, and serious seeds are one of the best. for 55 quid, you can get 3 dealer eights...or you can have a lifetime supply of AK47.

it works out @ £5 a seed.... 11 seeds a pack . Say you yield an oz...the oz cost u a fiver.

£55 is not a lot of money in the grand scheme of things. Plus AK 47 is a classic classic strain w excellent reputation.

Funny how only 1 person on this thread said to do the 48.....

just harvested ak47 ss im impressed best grow yet super strong weed aint grew or tasted nirvanas but grew there female ppp and it was shit tasted crap and only 3 were female rest hermied on me

its not my opinion that nirvana is crap (far from it) its just serious seeds do very high end quality genetics
