Just been dragged to a Dunhelm mill and they have halved thier air cooling stuff (crap summer I assume).... they had a aircooler with in built carbon filtration for £24 with adjustable speed settings and a 9000 BTU aircon for £80.... 1100w though which will hit the lecy bill, lots of fans as well

I think its cos of the summer that never was!!
Went to focus couple of weeks ago and they had up to 60% off all their fans and cooling ranges! Bought a mint fan down from £20 to £8!!

Sainsburys have a fan sale on too. Down to £6 from £20

depending on th size of area you're trying to cool this shouldn't really matter, as it'll just switch off at the right temperature so wont be on asmuch as a smaller unit, you may actually save money as it wont be running at full load all the time
