Mg def?
New to hydro and never had this issue with bio.
Seems to be on a couple of the lower older leaves and doesn't seem to be spreading.
Using Canna Aqua Vega A+B at EC or 1.2 ... if anyone could just set my mind at rest that would be great.

A Puffin
It is LSF you have - Leaf Spot Fungus

Not Mg deficiency -mg def is seen by stripes on leaves, not spots

DO NOT ADD EPSOM SALTS

If it is only one or two leaves it is affecting, remove them and burn them away from your grow room.

If it has or does spread to more of the plant you will need to spray it with an anti fungus jobby.

Like Webby's Essence or there are some good other tips in Felix's thread on friendly fungi

I would tend to agree with A Puffin there, it's the reddish colour that gives it away... i think.

Remove affected leaves and get in touch with Webby :}

Ok cheers for the heads up guys.
Sadly my payment options are limited so will have to go with something online.

Citrofresh and either Canna Aktrivator or Pythoff sound like it will do the job?

Won't post a link to the site but it describes Pythoff as:
QUOTE
Pythoff is an advanced sterilising agent that eliminates harmful pathogens from all parts of your hydroponic system.

Pythoff has a unique formulation that dissolves into your nutrient solution and remains active as a sterilising agent for longer than many other alternative products.

This leads to a very high success rate in both preventing and treating pythium infections that could damage or even destroy your plants if left untreated. Do not use in conjunction with beneficial bacteria or fungi based products

It's a new one on me anyway but sounds like what I need.

Sorry for the bump.

Would adding an ionizer into the grow room help kill the (airborne) spores?

Old thread I know... but I'd also like an answer to this question.

Kolor, maybe you have found out? biggrin.gif
