Got hold of a packet of NEP jam seeds and I have to say one female three males and six hermies what a joke I won't be buying anymore of ace seeds which is sad realy I wish I could get my money back....

I'd drop them a line,tell them and see what they say?

Dubi,the bloke at ACE is a nice guy,so give it a try.

I've grown ACE a few times and never had a hermie myself,did the NepJam twice.

That's strange.
A lot of other growers have had some good grows with this strain.

Talk to dubi and tell him your grow room details etc, he's a genuine guy.

nepjam and the panama are next on my list, right after i get these Angolan/ppc and ppc/china yunnan mummed up :}

Just done a pack myself, not one hermie from a whole pack of nepjam and tikal

Ace are the best IMO

to be honest I got them becouse of all the good reports I've been growing for over 15 years in soil and hydro the seeds all looked great in veg but as they went into flower the male showed its face first then four weeks in I got male flowers poping out all over the buds and totaly messed my crop up my temps where right light was right cool air in hot air out with filter on it ph 5.5 cf no higher than 17. The plants all looked right until four weeks flower I'm gutted realy wanted a good female of this strain very dissapointed...

what's up can't anyone have a fair say on here or is it just a click click site ...yes I've had good results with other seed I've come across which I won't say prob not allowed but unless people talk and express problems then what kindof a world will we be living in. I'm very dissapointed with some senior crew response guess that's life tho....

Just bad luck i think... I had a pack of Troublemaker Kush seeds (They were a freebie) and got 10/10 males, so does happen

the one female I did get grew very tall yield was fair trouble was it had seeds init from the hermies it also seeded my n lights.

I've had a hermie out of NJ seeds but I didn't feel the need to act like a tit because of it I just documented it in my grow diary and moved on. Judging by your other threads today you've done zero research into landraces, if you had you would know that the Nepalese can herm. Expecting a hassle free run from landrace seeds is another sign of your lack of research.
That one hermie I had was also some of the strongest weed I've smoked and it was pulled at 6 weeks! Would have run the clone again and tried not to stress it if I didn't have to get rid of everything.

Why not stick with World Of Seeds instead mate more your style*

Aye pologies for the sarcasm, always ugly never proud of it. But in all seriousness they're not crap seeds, that's the reason for the reaction alnog with the angry tone.

The fact that all 6 of them hermed indicates something very wrong in your environment and probably the reason Dubi didn't get back to you. Same reason breeders very rarely discuss germ and herm issues with customers, it's usually down to grower error.

Best of luck with the WOS fems, when I said fake didn't mean crap just I don't think they're really landrace but look like skunk crosses. Being fems you'll need to watch for hermies again, get your enviroment sorted and it'll be less of a problem. Packaging don't mean much probably just they had a surplus of those packs and it's a lot cheaper to get stickers made up than make new packaging.

Nep Jam is one of the best I have grown in recent years and certainly is in my top 3 smokes of all recent endeavours. Not the best fem rate in the world but a very strong plant.

ACE are very approachable and appreciate response to growers' findings. Best breeders I have had the pleasure of liasing with.

"Crap seeds", is really not very constructive as a criticism to the hard work that their breeding programme involves and probably why they will not respond to such comments. A different, more astute, approach might have resulted in an answer to the problems you encountered.

Dubi is a good friend and very knowledgeable in such issues. You should have talked to him first before posting your comments.

I have had very few problems with their genetics or seed lines.

Any that I have had, I have gone straight to them with any issues and received a reply and possible causes as to such. No-one knows their genetics better than the breeders, so that is always the best place to ask........

That is how I see it IMHO.

Excellent post Embalmer, Ace are the best seeds I have ever done, they even had a date on my last lot, Dubi PM's back to every message and he even took ages with me helping me decide.

Crap seeds they are not!, IMO the real life sun makes the difference!

The ACE collective work very hard in their breeding programmes and are very dedicated and passionate as to the prolonged and sustained longevity of the older and purer Landrace strains.
Once they are gone, they are gone. They need to be kept. We should also promote that as growers of their strains and why I have done so in recent years.

Show me a Dam 'breeder' that has done as much as that?

Im sorry to hear about your bad experience. Nepalese Jam and other landrace based hybrids can show a few bannanas at late flowering, especially indoors (although it would rarely be problematic). Light contamination, photoperiod increase during flowering phase of the use or new era flowering stimulators (with hormones) can force plants to show this kind of traits.

Some of our commercial hybrids like Nepalese Jam or Orient Express would be more sensible, on the other hand Panama, Oldtimer's Haze, Tikal, Congo ... are very hermie resistant, even with stress.

It's not realistic than 100 % of the growers will have great results with our seeds, there are many reason why male ratio could be not positive. Please, pm me or send me a email to: info@aceseeds.org. Sorry but if you sent us an email i think we missed it.

We apreciate A LOT the support from uk growers and friends. But bad comments are not always bad, i think we can learn and improve more from bad feedback than from postive ones.

Try to keep in mind that you are dealing with live plant genetics and if you only got 10 beans then sometimes that is just what you get. It doesnt mean ACE seeds are crap or all of them will be like that...only that you happen to get a few that had those traits. Keep a good attitude and open mind because after all you are dealing with variations in plant genetics when you buy seeds. There are no guarantees what the seed will be like and the only way to find out is to plant it and grow it. The more seeds you have the better your chances are of finding the one with the traits most desirable.
ACE is very conscientious and if you tell them your results perhaps they will sort it out with you.

AS I FOUND OUT AFTER BEING LOCKED UP BECAUSE A ENGLISH COMPANY DOBBED ME IN AFTER MY ORDER WAS SEIZED! AND THEN THEY WENT TO TOWN ON MY CREDIT CARD! NOT BAD AFTER 2 MEDICAL SITES HAD RECOMMENDED THIS COMPANY!
