I have heard that the earlier you harvest your babies, (than recommended on the seed packet), the less 'stoney' the effect will be of the bud.

Also I've read to look at the hairs and when they're half milky and half brown this is a good time.

the thing is mine look like this now and have only been flowering for 34 days and the seed pack recommends 55-60 days.

am i being far too impatient, or is there at least a little sense in what i have just mumbled. cheers

youre being far too impatient. the plants will not be as potent now as they will be in another month or so.

not the hairs , but the resin glands on de bud ( much smaller scale) show a different color when maturing

early bud has little effect compared to peak potency
also , the bud will pack a lot of weight in the final stage of floweing

you do sound impatient. but theres nothing wrong in cutting a side bud , when in need of a few tokes.
its alweays better to harvest one early nug of own wellgrown weed , to bypass a dealer, than to smoke uncertain weed of a unknown source-imho.
