recently got gifted with some G99, the donor doesn't have any history on it,, i'm assuming the 99 is C99... so what is the "G"? after doing research i only found the G stands for Grape FX so is this grape-grapefruit?

I've seen seeds sold as C99 grapefruit pheno and AFAIK the strain called grapefruit is mainly c99 genetically...might be wrong though I often am
