This is a pic of half of my shed i have blacked out windows with builing paper, and lined with kingspan (whatever i could pick up from building sites) I used 4 in for the ceiling and top 2 ft of walls then 2 in on the rest, i plan on lining the rest of the ceilng outside the grow area with 4in and the top 2 ft of walls aswell. for infra red and helicopter reasons. it definatley works , just my body heat in there makes it hot , so must be not alot of heat escaping.
I Gonna need good exhaust. next i show where i plan to have exhaust .

kingspan is the dogs bollocks mate, to get the same insulasion value you would need something like 4 times the thikness in polystyrene wink.gif i did something just like you btw ph34r.gif

The first pic is a timber rack i purpose built with a solid ply floor and 6inch facia blow shelf to form a sort of hood ,
I plan to extract my hot air to under this shelf where it can mix with the outside air and cool undetectable from above ( i will line the underside of shelf with 2-3in kingspan). As u can tell im para about the choppers around here. heres a veiw of underside of stealth shelf.

Right heres the big question, WHAT SIZE LIGHTS !,
Dont want to start an argument or debate but throw some ideas my way .
The grow area is 3.5ft x 7ft x 6ft2in high.
Obviously i want yeild for my space,
some reasoning i have thought of is.
I wasn't plannig sog/scrog as i have plenty height ?/
Was thinking of one 400hps/mh + couple of smaller hps/mh closer to plants at sides/ or maybe several cfls in amongst the growth+ the main 400w of course, that way i could use my height and keep sufficiant light at the lower areas when the plants get tall.
Another Question , should i split room for veg / grow , or do one batch at a time. i dont mind as long as i have enough buds til next harvest. would the extra space for flowering make up for the wait in veg time, this will be my first grow indoor so any advice apprieciated
thanks ,
ps whilst i got my camera out here a pic of my outdoor bagseed only 10 days into forced flowering outside.
