Hi m8 looking to do the same, from what ive read go by the size of the plant and expect it to double or treble in size . I have a few now 16" in height so i think all systems go ! Shame the others i have are only 6" as i tried diffrent fertilising methods sad.gif I could well be wrong im a newb too on 1st grow from seed.

It depends on factors such as what height restrictions you have, what type of strain it is etc.In the main expect an indica to stretch twice, a sativa three times or more ( although I'm guessing you're not tackling full sats first grow? whistling.gif )
Most plants from seed will not become mature until 5 weeks or more so ideally you would want to wait at least this long before flowering .

I personally flower my indicas at around 15 inches for a finsihed height of about 3 foot but I only have 4 foot to play with in total.

Could take a month o0r could take a year. All dependent on starin, grow rom enviroments, person looking after it. Just be patient, good things come to those who wait =)
