Hi towlee420 Lowryders are simple to grow if you know your basics so are a good starting point for a first grow. But growing from regular seeds is something that takes time and patients and skill on totally all aspects of the growing cycle of a plant and this is what is lacking in lowryders this is my opinion and i have grown Lowryders which are easy to grow and kept me away from the dealers so go ahead and give them a try mam

Nah man...regular seeds don't take patience or skill...I should know I've got neither and still grow some half decent bud wink.gif

I think personally its a shame to waste 10 or 12 weeks growing lowryders when a couple of weeks more would mean a much bigger harvest from proper seeds smoke.gif

lots of skill involved in changing the light cycle to 12/12 tongue.gif

ive grown r and lr#2 and there good if ur new to growing coz u see the results fast. i mean u just popp them in some soil and 9ish weeks later u could be smoking and that was good for me. coz i could see how a plant flowers from about 3 weeks with a lr, so now i know what im doing. i know what to look for, and have started some regular strains. its all courses for horses as they say.

best of luck with ur decision.

I agree bowcon, I have struggled over the last few years in keeping my plants and stressing them out as I was for ever fidgeting with them with no having a clue.
I decided to go woth lowryder for the exact reasons you give, I can clearly see the cycle of the plant changing. I don't know what the smoke will be like but who cares, as long as it keeps me from getting ripped at £40 a eighth.

I love lowryder not because of the actual strain but because its genetic code has opened doors for the breeders that didnt know this sort of speices existed now i cant advertise but i will say lr#1 is a small yeilder there are better dwarf strains out there lowryder#2 is alot better than the origanl!
But also if you look around there are some lowryders with real good gentics making the them dwarf auto and potent to smoke taste and smell peace
