Okay, say you made some hash, I hear that the longer you cure it (like years wise) the better it becomes.

But imagine you was curing all this hash and cops raided you, and i mean in a year or two its like its priceless you know :S that would suck so bad

So i was thinking maybe bury the hash in a jar and some wooden box (and maybe some insulation around the jar inside the box and some air tight crap aroudn the box.
Whats the chances of it surviving years and years and etc. ?

I mean does it have to be aired still after a few months of curing?

Or can you jsut leave it burried and dig it up in 20 years (exagirating maybe but still)

As far as I know it will keep for several years if placed in an airtight container

If your worried about the law finding your stash then spread your eggs.

Being a stoner like yourself, I'd think twice about burying a shit load of hash for 20 years. I'd forget it's there after 20 mins.

In Afghanistan back in the 60s 70s etc they used to store some of the dry sifted resin powder for long periods of time. They would store it unpressed in it's raw state often 10 or 20 feet under ground in special storage rooms.
When they decided the time was right a bag of unpressed resin would be removed, the hashish would be pressed sometimes with hand and other times with a mechanical hashish press, and then it would be smoked.
I have read stories of some bags of resin being stored underground like this for extended periods of up to 10 years, they say that the hashish that is made from resin that has been stored this long has some special qualities about it.
In certain remote regions this practice may still be used today, but I am somewhat unsure of this.

I too heard about that HT, although they do report that the hash does lose some potency over time. I think the main thing is to make sure it keeps cool. Keeping it unpressed seems to make more sense to me as when the trichomes are pressed togther they will break and start to oxidise.

Thats amazing about the resin glands being stored away for so long i bet those guys really know how to get stoned

And of course i mean i will spread them out over a few sites, i wouldnt just dig up like a kilo of hash in one place ,
anyway i cant just leave the resin cos i will use the ice extration method for some trim i got coming up, im planning a little project now, of burrying bits of hash all over the back garden in the sort of container i described above.

It will be very air tight.

Hopefully i wont forget them , might have to map them or somehting like, 'this many' inches away from this tree and ''that many'' inches away from this rock

like the blue peter dudes, im gonna make a time capsule i can imagine i foget it and years later someone is building soemthing over my backyeard and thye dig it up .
