Hello all. Found out about a coffeeshop in Lancing west sussex today. Not sure if I should mention the name of it so decided not too. Sure if its true then some of you will know which one im on about. They have been raided over 6 times and once with a tractor used to make a hole in the wall.

Well I was wondering if cannabis is actually smoked here or if its just a coffeeshop full of stoners?

Im quite sure they're not going to be selling there because of all the recent busts

they have a furnace apprantly, when theres a bust they just stick everything in that. and all the evidence is up in smoke

They do sell it there, i havent been there myself but know the area. Ive had weed from a coffeeshop in worthing a few years ago. They only sold it in tenner bags, 1.1 grams.

id rather use the local cafe than fly to the dam for a 10 bag

ETA: Evans, re-read. The price quoted is from a coffee shop in Worthing that was put out of business long ago, not the one in Lancing that got rammed by a bulldozer.

Sorry mis-read the post, as for them getting busted no thy dont deserve it as i dont believe anyone should get busted for weed but maybe they should hav got a slap for ripping fellow smokers off by charging those prices

i used to live just down the coast from here. i just looked at the website at apparently they are still open. whilst i cannot recall anything i would describe as illegal going on there, it is an excellent place to enjoy a game of chess and a cup of coffee (strict no alcohol/no drunk people policy). some people may have complained about the prices of their coffee etc. but they do have overheads and (for some unphathomable reason) security issues including the continual repairs for all the damage inflicted by the police.
if you are around the brighton/worthing area then it's just a short ride on the train to lancing. i would highly recommend this as a great place to meet like minded people on the south coast... well done hole in the wall...

had some wet shit homegrown from there for 25 quid an 8th. The best they could get though still got us pretty stone in a not nice way. They said they would e-mail me when they got some indian hash but they didnt. An interesting place to have a toke though quite a few people chilling.

Lancing cannabis café closed for good

Residents blighted by a cannabis café on their doorstep are celebrating after it was permanently shut down.

A judge has ordered the building, in Freshbrook Road, Lancing, to be closed to everyone until November.

Solicitors acting for the people running the café appealed against an earlier three-month closure notice under the Antisocial Behaviour Act.

Instead of overturning the original decision, the judge hearing the appeal extended the closure order for another three months.

Between the original closure order and the appeal, a private eviction order brought to court by a mortgage company was granted meaning the building is finally rid of those associated with running it as a cannabis café.

Chief Inspector James Asser, divisional commander for Adur, said: “We met with residents to tell them it had finally closed for good.

“The pictures speak a thousand words. Getting people to public meetings is quite difficult sometimes but we had quite a number there.

“The cannabis café has been a blight on their life for two years now so they were ecstatic.”

The café, which was labelled by Ch Insp Asser as the most fortified in Britain, has been the target of numerous raids with officers once using a tractor to pull the side of the building down to get in.

Remember there used to be a shop in Camden, go down some steps and you could get decent score. Also sold cakes etc.. Could smoke inside. Odd because you could smell it outside and police were always walking by.
