Hello friends and strangers alike!

Been away for a while - well not here as much as i was before -

I promised in my diary i'd add some BHO shots when i got round to trying it.........

Well in a pound shop in town yesterday i stumbled across London butane at £1 a can!!! Flabbergasted i got the last two cans and couldnt sleep last night for thinking about making it today.

I used: just under 2 ounce of airbud and trim
2 cans London gas
standard coffee pot plunger type
pyrex dish
blade
gloves
grobags excellent thread
nice weather and a cup of tea

Oh the trim went straight into a bucket for ice hash and is settling now - i'll add to this thread later dudes....

one thing for the BHO heads out there HOW THE FLIP DO YOU HANDLE THIS STUFF!!!!

got it in cellophane in the freezer but theres loads still on the bowl etc.

can a BHO expert help me out!!!!

allowed it to sit in pot for about 8 minutes.

nice one U looks awsome! glad to see uve been keeping urself busy! i no what u mean about handling the stuff though, gets abit messy . some ppl just leave it in the pyrex dish and wipe their rizlas on it . maybe u can warm it up to make it thiner? hope u enjoy the bho mate just dont loose at poker .

I always used to scrape the BHO bowl with a pallet knife really quickly and the remaining oil from the bowl would collect on the blade of the knife. You may find the remaining BHO easier to collect if you heat the BHO collection bowl in a saucepan of water on the stove, softening it and making it run to the middle of the bowl, you could then remove it from the heat, let it cool and freeze it for easy collection.
I find safety pins come in helpfull when trying to handle BHO. I normally scoop some up with the end of the pin and then heat the pin above the oil making it drop into place in whatever you are using it for (spliff, bong, pipe etc).

isop[ropyl alcohol, buy it from flea bay, it will dissolve the resin making it easier to clean from the bowl, then just evaporate the alcohol off afterwards

Hey U last batch I did I poured into plastic wrap and froze it... Then everyday I would go back to it and give it a bit of a rustle to free it from the wrap, and then put it back in the fridge, after a few days I got ALL of the BHO dumped into a container for storing and a clean piece of plastic wrap...That stuff won't stay solid for long literally a few seconds and then it goes all icky on yah..

Nice one Underwater mate. It is really easy isn't it, and you get the most amazinng results. How did it smoke; did it take your head off as planned?

I did like looking at this thread and seeing the London gas (near zero impurities), the stainless steel coffee pot etc. I thought, eh, that's just how I do it. Then I read the text and saw you mention my threads, cool, another convert, that's what I like to see. We're upping the game slowly but surely.

With regards to getting the stuff out of the vap dish, it takes a bit of practice and technique. Before all of the butane evaporates you can pool it up into one area before finally vapping off what you can, this makes scraping it up that much easier as you are not trying to scrape around the edges so much. Use a new stanley blade to scrape it up as a nice new, sharp blade gets it up best. I scrape it off the blade and onto a wrap of thick plastic, scraping up all that is possible. You will inevitably leave a bit behind but that's no biggy.

With what remains in the vap dish (smears and hard to reach bits) you have a few options. One is to just let it totally dry out and it will turn totally brittle over a day or two. You can then scrape it off easier in the form of crystals rather than a sticky oil. These crystals you can just sprinkle into a joint just like hash. It looks like this:

But if you squish these crystals back together again and warm it in a wrap in your hand it will turn back into a runny oil, if that's what you prefer. A tip here to speed up the process is to put the vap dish in the freezer whilst trying to dry it out totally as the freeze purge halves the times.

Alternatively you can add a couple of drops of IPA to thte vap dish to dissolve the remaining oil again. This can then be scraped up a lot easier and pooled into one area etc. Then all you have to do is scrape it up into a plastic wrap and vap off the IPA again. Or you can just leave it dissolved in the IPA and vap it as and when needed.

Going back to the original blob scraped up and put in plastic. If you bung this in the freezer then open it up and bring it back to room temperatures, then freeze it again. So on and so on until you've repeated the process 3 or 4 times. This will purge the oil of any last traces of butane and you'll be left with pure drug!

Ask away if there's anything else I can help with or tips etc to pass on. It's really easy when you know how but it can be a bugger until you get your own personal style down and find the easiest ways for you to personally go about it.

Those are excellent tips mate - im saving the dish for when the gram or so we made is finished - tried it last night....OH MY WORD!!!!! What an amazing stone - after i got home from poker (lost) i was drifting in and out on the couch so i had another and went to bed for the most incredible floating until i fell asleep - what a contrast the extreme body and head hit you get from the first two joints.

It destroyed my brother - my mate from barca LOVED it - and me and a friend from glasgow both agreed its a whole new canna ballgame i.e. VERY IMPRESSED. But too wasted to follow a cash game of poker.

I just can beleive i made it myself.

And yes!!! When i went back to your thread i noticed i'd fluked the same kit - although my coffee filter holder was made from paperclips - having tried it you could probably just get someone to hold it steady as pouring the liquid butane through on ly takes about 30 - 40 seconds.

I love the coffee pot method because with the spout of the pot you have a natural vent for the gas - im not keen on pressurised pipes and tubes as the potential for a big bang is greater. Coffee pot - tea towel - assistant - thats all U need.

E2a: the ice hash didt make it to the end of the poker game and i didnt take pics - BUT be assured it was with the same method i used in my diary and the hash was identical (great!) too.

Heres the joint that made me pass out on the sofa at 5am sunday morning cup of tea still in hand. And the pile of BHO crystals that (half of) went into it!

Frozen thrice and razored into a pile like grobag suggested - its much easier to handle this way - although a runny blob of oil is more fun.

I cant describe the taste its SO amazing - 'organic' was the best my mate could manage - i think it lives up to its 'honey' tagline thats for sure.

Thanks boys - im rolling up the last of it now - went MUCH further than i first thought - i let my old man have a bit and he was made up - named it straight off as honey oil and said he hadnt had any since the 80's!!!

I cant wait to make more - alas - its gonna be a few months - if anyone is reading and is wondering whether to try BHO - then DO IT!!!! its so easy and fast and the end product is truly special - youll get the fright of your life the first time you smoke it (good fright that is )

honey oil and budder also improve with a little ageing gets more tasty and less cough lock its much more smother to smoke i like to leave mine for a couple of month at least it knocks the socks off for sure
