I usuall cure my bud in air tight jars after hanging and thoroughly drying but Ive noticed that when I buy weed in Amsterdam its soft. Is this to do with a longer curing process or do they reintroduce moisture similar to the orange peel method? My bud never seems to regain is softness unless I keep it somewhere thats not air tight like my skinning up box.

Maybe drying it to long or and having fan pointed at them??

If not maybe its a strain thing.

Or a hydro or compost organic thing.?

Or they are better more experienced growers??

My weeds the same sometimes i have yet to imitate the best weed ive smoked.

well we are supposed to dry out weed until there is no moisture left so Im not going wrong there maybe the coffee shops do it to give it some extra weight?

If I were gonna bet on it I'd say they're hanging too long before they got into the jars... You can get a humidfier disc (the cheap ones that are about the size of a coin)at a cigar shop and drop some distilled water in it then leave the disc in the jar for a day or so until its dry and continue with curing...

I've always let mine stay a little sticky and moist in the center, as I have felt the the curing process will help to pull it out and distribute it evenly throughout the bud allowing for a better and more flavorful smoke, also a more evenly burning smoke that doesn't vaporize into ash when it sees fire...

I just noticed the title to my thread reads 'buds not as dry as amsterdam bud'. i mean wet!

you are lucky if the buds in coffee shops have a week to dry before there in shops to dry no cure involved. its tourest bud your lucky if its not tumbled before you buy it. stank
