the above link only provides you with what some breeders do there is another way which is more favourable and doesnt mean you need to use any chemicals
female plants when left for a longer period of time than they need to flower say about 3 weeks will produce what are know as female pollen sacks these contain the pollen for making seeds but its only fermale pollen so you only get female seeds. breeders dont tend to use the light stress method as it jus makes plants hermie which can mean hermie seeds by using the natural way of prolonged flowering the plants dont hermie jus produce pollen as a survival technique
a lot of breeders will add a hormone to make the plants mass produce the female pollen but this is not the same hormone that makes the plants go hermie an produce male flowers awell as female
im going to try to get an new thread of this pinned as ive repeated this in about 6 posts in the space of 2 days so female seed creation seems to be a very popular topic jus no one knows how its done.

Wrong. Light stress is just the same as prolonged flowering, it's all just stress for the plant. Stress can not change the genetic structure of a lifeform.
If you stare at the sun until you go blind, your children will still have eyesight, no???

But a plant that only needs a little light leak to go hermie is very prone to do that, so that might give hermaphrodite offsprings, but if you need to stick your plant in a freakin' tanning bed to make her start pollinating, well then that plant will make female seeds and little or no hermies.

Reason that pro breeders use chemicals instead of light stress: It's easier.
