say you knew you were gonna get budrot (dense indica outdoors uk), do you think i could a mix of ISO, water & ice (50/50) together? ie in bucket

or would you do the ice extraction first, then run it through a quick ISO shake to clean up mold infested hash?

Im gonna do it anyways, cause I wont smoke it untouched, just wondering if anyone has any other ideas for impending moldy bud for hash.

And dont suggest a preventive please, like move them indoors or something before the bad weather hits us, I need a CURE not a preventive.

You could try a water cure (put buds in water, change water daily, repeat for a week).

I havent done it myself, but apparently all the spores float to the surface, and then get removed when you change the water.

I get rot almost every other grow, so going to try this next time I get it. Makes the bud taste like shit, apparently, but better than smoking spore infested weed or throwing it out.

Just ice hash it mate.. I cant see mould spores sinking and interfering with the denser resin. Have you got bubble bags or are you doing it oldskool..?

ye old traditional method (mesh grill used for flour)

just been searching through the threads, apparently mold spores float on water, so I will probably ice hash it first, then run it through some more water again to make sure, leave it overnight in fridge as well.

I might even run the finished ice hash through some ISO alcohol too for the added peace of mind, hate those mycotoxins.
