Off boat fishing from Dungemess on Wednesday, hoping for some good red gilling over the wrecks for Bass...!!!
Anyone recommend decent tactics and lures, bit new to boat fishing so not really up on the techie stuff, what about Bream any good to go for..? One of the blokes keeps going on about bream fishing saying they are the king of the sea.
Advice welcome

I have caught black bream before, the ones I caught where only small ones (less than 1lb) but they do fight hard indeed and are excellent sporting fish and fun aswell. I cant tell you what they are like to eat because I returned all of the ones I caught to the sea unharmed.
Would be nice to hook into a decent size bream, and see how much more powerfull they are than the little uns.

Oh well bit of waste of time trip really, just a few codling to 2lb and a 1lb sea bream, no Bass though which was the intention..
The skipper ripped us off really, he just wasnt interested in us catching fish, he just motored about over the wrecks which he told us were there, only lost 1 set of tackle in 6hrs wreck fishing....??????? very suspect.
Think were going to try Dover charter boats next time and get to the Varne banks
