I've crossed White Russian with Power Plant to produce Kremlin (Russian power...)

What signs should I be looking out for before I decide to harvest to get the optimum germination rate, should they be brown and mottled etc? What do you guys look out for before deciding?

Also, should I let them dry like normal before removing them from their calyx's or when they are still on the plant?

Let them dry in the calyx before removing, they should fall out naturally with a bit of a shake, I would wait a bit longer than the normal harvest time to insure the seeds have developed properly

Good seeds look almost like watermelons, except a more brown.
