hi ppl just thought id post some pics of what i caught over the weekend , i done a 48hr session from thursday to saturday

i had 2 and lost one (using new braid for first time korda hybrid ) just snapped like cotton

the last fish i had was the linear (i think) in the middle about 2 months ago but was well chuffed with what i had

E2A: How did you catch the beasts? Big beds of bait, single pop ups & pva bags??

thanks mate , they fell to small pva bags of pellet and peices of boiley with some added glug and a trimmed boiley hook bait

ive just started last week to prebait with a freezer bait called malarky . so was even more pleased

First of all well done m8, well happy theres a fishing section on here, makes sense as i can't go fishing without weed.

Am an avid carper myself, not caught too much this year besides on a trip to france a few weeks ago. That Malarky's a decent bait if you establish it right, and you can pile it in for the price of it. What Jeff Bowers don't know about bait aint worth knowing.wink

Nice fish mate, makes me want to dust off the delkims and get down the lake for a session, havent been for weeks, the last fish i caught was a 16lb cat on large haibut pellets, proper fighter.

Im getting out for a day session on Saturday my first of the year aswell,the weather's looking nice the back end of this week.Here's hoping we can bring a couple of uk420 carp to the boards, Ive forgot what one looks like A bend in the rod would be a nice start to the year.......
