Well its as above im on with building my nephew a growroom in his loft in his new gaff .Been to have a look at it today an my god its fucking massive out of the 8g/rooms iv put in lofts this is by far the biggest loft iv been in .This room is going to have 3x600s an 8in extractor an filter vented out the c/stack 2x6in intake fans and there will be a smaller room off the side of the main room for vegging. The whole room will be lined in thick black visqueen then the room will be made from 75ml thick kingspan sheets doubled up on the roof heres a few pics of the loft Click to view attachmentClick to view attachmentwe'v already got 5pks of kingspan so thats 40sheets il get another 5pks from work on monday then il update some more this build should take about 2wk cos we both work so it'll be just a few hours wen ever we'v got time but il picture everything you need to do to build your own loft grow

the bst way for water is a hose pipe from the tap with a connector and when emptying drain with a small pump into the bath!
electic- you need to get a plug run from your fuse box! best to have it from an empty fuse so it wont overload!

just for you noway this is the way i did mine .Wen i 1st started growing i sacrificed my shower to power my loft an put a 45amp trip switch in instead of the fuse that was there like soClick to view attachment i must add that i didnt use the cable that was there for the shower i ran a new one by the side of it. But another way that it could be done is to take a feed from this Click to view attachment its just a case of finding it in the loft an taking power from there. Also showers need water so because i took the shower out that left me a free water pipe that i put a push fit tap on it and hey you'v got running water in your loft SO thats that THEN owt els you wanna know

Cheers rokitkrk an heres an update for ya's iv been over to my nephews today for a few hours an we'v really made an impact on it we'v done the floor the roof most of the front and sides taped up all the kingspan joints with some gas membrane tape the room is 12ft long 8ft wide 6.5ft high with a smaller room coming off that an thats going to be 6ft long 5ft wide and 5ft high this will be for vegging Click to view attachmentthis pic is of the flooring we had to remove all the rockwool insulation to find the joists and to make sure we dint hit any cablesClick to view attachment next up is the frame work for the kingspan roof straight forward really we used 2x1.5in battons screwd to the roof joists kingspan laid on top of them sealed with gas tape inside and out

iv been thinking about the lay out of the room an the best way of using the space we'v got an the lights he's got an they are 2x600s 1x1000 watts butt he only wants 2crops per year so they must be decent crops to see him to the next. So here's what iv come up with .Instead of having 30 odd buckets taking all the floor up. leepy... keep a close eye on ur temps, as my bedroom is actually in my loft i've noticed temps can really vary from daytime to night time. During summer it is ALOT hotter due to the black roof tiles attracting light from the sun..

In simple terms:
During Summer the loft is the hottest room of the house, during winter it's the opposite. Make sure you compensate for this.

I've got something very similar to you. 2 600W HPS, moving to a third in a couple of weeks, with a seperate veg/cuttings/mums room and a drying room as well. Come by some time and take a gander m8!

anywayy, im planning a loft build myself, the only problem is electrics i dont want extension leads from my upstaries to grow room but it looks as if i have no choice.

hey up guys its bee a while since iv done owt on this room but i had 4hours today so heres a quick update for ya's .Well iv managed to get the kingspan finished the power supply up there and tapped into the chimney stack to vent out of and got the carbon filter up as youll see by the pics my extractor fan wont be in the room the fan going above the room in a box filled with expanding foam then the ducting will enter the room at each end from the celing to save space Click to view attachmentClick to view attachmentClick to view attachmentClick to view attachment ( cors it fucking is)
Nearly forgot iv already got the plants for this grow they are 12chronic,10w/wid,3grapefruit,and 5blue ice 30 in total these are vegging outside in a coalframe so now all to be done is the mylar to put up ,floor to be sealed , lightrail and lights

Well its nearly done now chaps we'v put the mylar up taped all the joints up with some gas tight tape to prevent any smell escaping we'v made the floor water tight incase of any spills the lights are up but not on the rail just yet Click to view attachmentClick to view attachmentClick to view attachment The power board is done its got 1x2000 watt lighting contractor for the lights 1x2000 watt contractor for the fans an shit but iv had to cut off the end cos it only had room for 2 plugs but now its got room for 6 the fan controller is up all iv to add is thermostat for my pole heaters but no rush for that just yet

my man thanks for dropping in mucka an i used an hilti gun from work to blast nails straight into the brickwork buddy an to makesure its air tight i just went around the edge of it with that no nails stuff .Must add i put this on 1st then nailed it in place an within an hour it took my 14stone body swinging off it just to make sure it was stuck .the last thing i want is the fucking fan trashing the plants as regards to Whats a Mucka Well were i live a mucka is a very good mate or a really close pal like someone you'v grown up with .If your a mucka you 'v got the trust an respect from who ever calls you it But thats just what we class as a mucka no doubt theres peeps on here from elswere in the uk that might call every fucker they bump into mucka I will drop in on your grow mate a soon as i get a min take care an all the best with the rest of your grow mucka (leepy)

right guys a quick update cos im busy as a bastard 2 bastards infact right well iv been trying to get this room finished as im on with other things an cant do fuck all while im running backwards an forwards sorting this un out so the set up i was going to build for this room is on hold for the moment we gone for 2planters one with 100ltr of west+ an 25 ltr of coco plus some bat poo the other has 150ltr of west + and 25ltr of coco and bat poo iv just put em into the planters today id have liked to have repotted em into 5ltr pots 1st but lack of time changed my mind but they have avery good root mass as they have been potted up twice Click to view attachmentas ya can see on his picture iv made a soaker set up using some hose an micro spinklers these are fed from a 60ltr bin thats out side the room pushed out with a pump Click to view attachmentfor the door iv cut a sheet of ply wood so its 3in bigger all around the frame then screwed a sheet o of kingspan to it so it fits like a plug or an iv put 2small air vents in the bottom one at each side of the door these have light traps built in so no light can ge in or out Click to view attachment
