sorry kolkol, couldn't resist having a little go at mr woodbine

all in good spirits. 7-9wks is probably a good starting point but each plant will be slightly different. if you can, get a mini microscope and check the trichs (tiny clear stalks with globules on the end all over flowers and top leaves) nearer the time. they start to go from clear to 'milky' and then (usually) amber as they start to deteriorate. scan the plant and try and work out what percentages of each you have. lots of clear/few milky will be a much lighter smoke than say 85% milky/10% amber. you'll also notice that the pistils will turn brown as the plant matures. this can be another way to gauge how far off 'done' your plants are.
