Hey folks,
Got some plants in a dirt mix here, all been treated with Fungus Fighter as they'd gotten sick (poss. pythium) whilst sitting in an Amazon unit for a while. I'd like to know if this systemic fungicide fades outa the plant system at some point where it becomes worthwhile using fungal innoculants (Trich. and VAM), or if its persistance is such that it will just keep killing off the goodies?..
It was actually via. an accident of dumbness that these got this treatment - I potted these young plants from Amazon into dirt as I'd planned, innoc. with Canna trichoderma (T003), RootGrow + (= VAM fungi), and Bio-Pac bacteria, and they took off really well immediately! I then got myself the Fungus Fighter for the plants I am to flower out in the Amazon, and sprayed them all (plus put some into the nute tank), then proceeded to absent mindedly treat the dirt plants in just the same way (sprayed leaves, and watered in too). It wasn't until the day after I suddenly realised that I WASN'T MEANING TO DO THAT!!! - I believe you can still make out the hand print on my forehead, and the pain-stricken "D'oh!!!' still echoing around the valley... heheheh...
Any chance that by next potting up time it'll be worth another fungal shot?
Cheers for any advice/experience folks, as ever.
