Just thought that I would share some pictures from previous visits to Amsterdam. Hopefully they will bring back memories for those that have been there, and give a good idea of what it is like for those that have not.
I will be of to Amsterdam again next week and will do a full smokers report on the different types of weed and hash that I try whilst I am there. There are some weed and hash shots included buy most of the pictures I have chosen to post are of typical Dutch scenes and everyday life in Amsterdam. Hopefully the Mods and Admin will not have any problems with any of the images posted, but if they do please feel free to edit as you see fit .
Please feel free to post any comments or remarks you may have about the pictures etc.

Click to view attachment The Warmoesstraat by night. Many coffeeshops, hotels, hostels and bars can be found on this street which is right in the middle of the city. The Warmoesstraat is considered the westerly boarder of the Red Light District. Plenty of good night life and action can be found down this street thats for sure.

Click to view attachment This one is of the bridge on the Singel which is near by the Grey Area coffeeshop, I believe that it is the widest bridge in Amsterdam. You can really see how the buildings appear to lean over in this shot.

right next to the windmill in post 7 there is a brewery where they make there own beer and a bar to drink it in, if you like a beer while your in the dam its well worth visiting. its called T' IJ (the egg) i usually pop outside for a quick smoke before popping back in for another of their fantastic beers.

You lucky b'stard, wish it was me going. I've been 8 times now but the last time was nearly 2 years ago and I'm getting a strong urge to go again soon, in fact I've been collecting tokens in the Daily Sport this week with that in mind.

Have a top time fella and I'll look forward to hearing all about it when you get back.

the first time i went to the nederlands(15 years ago now) thats exactly what i did...last 4 days i lived on dry bagettes,gouda and about 15 grams of weed+hash...ahhh happy days indeed!...have a great time!

Did you know that in the early 80's the dutch just left loads of white bikes all around the Netherlands so people could use them. The idea was that you used it, lent it against a wall and walked away and someone else used it and dropped it off etc.
So basically a thousand odd bikes got re-painted overnight.
It's hilarious, i was there last November and all the old ones had the paint peeling off to reveal the white paint.

Thanks for popping by Weedio and yes I thought that I heard something about those white bikes you mentioned somewhere before. But in all honesty lots of bikes get stolen over there all of the time, I think it could have even become a professional trade for some.

We saw about three different people steal other peoples bikes and people running after them.
All in the space of about 90 minutes sitting outside the sensi coffee shop/seed shop.
I've got an awesome pic but it all shows our faces so visibly, shame eh, if only our hobby was legal.
