I remember being in Amsterdam and frequenting a coffee shop named "the grey area"

It was a great wee place, good atmosphere, excellent, excellent weed.

I remember their own strain in particular, it having won many awards, named "grey mist" i think.

Excellent taste, its hard to describe, but somehow it was a bit peppery? i dunno, it got me melted anyways, and was the standout bud i sampled during my travels.

Anyone else tried it? Anyone grown it? What are your thoughts?

I have not smoked their 'Grey Mist' but I have smoked thier 'Yellow Cab' and was impressed with it. I have to agree that the quality of the buds that that normally sell there are really good but I haven't really tried their hash so I couldn't tell you about that.
It is a good shop but it could do with being made alot larger with much more seating for customers. They could also do with providing clean bongs for customers to use, as the ones they currently provide are usually very dirty and are not pleasant to use. TBH their weed is good but IMHO it is over priced quite badly, weed is weed at the end of the day and is only worth so much money no matter how good or strong it is.

I remember trying the Grey Mist before and yes it was very nice, have no idea where you'd get seeds though. I remember buying some weed from there once, can't remember if it was western winds or matanuska tundra but it was aweful. Very dry and quite seeded. I never asked to look at it because i always had good weed from there. Lesson learnt, always have a butchers at it before you buy.

I really liked the Yellowcab too HT.......loverly stuff


E2a-Just a thought but Sagmartha do a strain called Matanuska mint, it's the tundra crossed with a grey mist, if it's any interest to you.

If I remember correctly their Grey mist was a KaliMist(serious) Pheno,according to the counter guy back in the 90's....Sag's Western Winds is apparently very similar as well....I have to agree it was some loveley smoke with a proper sat buzz! JBo

when i looked at it was very boring smelling and quite bland

what is it ia amsterdam all the indica weed is the same


i looked at ww, bgum, n lights, ak47- they were always the same boring strain
