I have always enjoyed the potency of this when I have tried it, both here and in amsterdam, and am looking at getting a pack of these.

One thing that had me slightly worried was the way all reviews/websites go out of their way to emphasise the strong odour. Some even advocate "additional" odour control techniques (whatever they may be - ozone?). I just have a normal fan/filter combo - would this cope?

I wanted to ask if more experienced growers than I (both with this strain and in general) agreed that the odour of this strain is especially bad. I think I may be put off the strain if the smell was so bad that it would be an increased security risk!

your filter should be fine as long as its not an old nail a new filter youl be sweet

yeah dude growing some of these at the mo only 6 week in veg and they do smell but nothing a fan/filter cant handle
i know theres quite a few grow diaries floating about with ak47 on here you might want to check em out

It does stink mate, can make the whole house smell if not filtered properley and just outside the house... down the street a bit...

Doesn't really smell that much when it's being smoked though

had some from a mate recently that he said was ak, was right nice but tasted like blueberry to me, is this taste poss from ak or has he just mislabelled his babies?

I have recently renewed my filter, and the space well sealed up - (silicon round all vurnerable edges) - with negative pressure etc.

Where ducting is clipped onto the filter / fan / room outlet spigot, I have reinforced the seals with tape.

The extract goes into the loft, (top flat), and vents under the eaves of the roof.

Sound OK to you for this strain?

You will be fine with this strain with a good fan and filter.

I've smoked Ak that tasted like Lemons and some that tasted like say sandlewood. Never tried one like blueberry though. Apparently there is a cherry pheno.

like the others said.. you should be fine as long as you have a good filter. From what I understand they get rid of any smell at all as long as they are in good working order.
