Hello All,
Have a couple of girls five weeks into flowering. While moving one into light, I damaged a lower fairly prominent branch with a several sizeable buds on it and had to amputate it. What effect will this have on the overall plant? Hoping for good news.
Thanks,
Nelly

How do you mean what effect will it have?
Nothing!!
The plant will carry on as normal, maybe the top buds might get a tiny bit bigger as more energy goes to them instead of the missing lower branch.
Your plant won't die or anything like that.
E2A: You could have just made a splint and tied it to the area and it would have most probably fixed itself

Hey man I dont think it will set your plants back but yield should not be affected as the plants should with good environment fill up the space which got broken and couple of weeks time you wont even notice anything out of place. Good luck with the grow!
ps check out this if you have time;

Hello folks,
Thanks for your comments. I could let it go another week if needs be, not a problem now. The reason i was os concerned is it was a prominent side branch and had quite a nice top cola but as long as it throws more energy into the rest of the buds then that's gotta be good news in the long run.
Thanks again,
Nels.
