I think this is the right forum for my problem ;

In about a weeks time im gonna be havin a small operation were im gonna be havin a General Anesthetic. I was just readin on the NHS website about not smokin (quote) ''marijuana'' or drinkin etc etc !

only the weed applys to me and i was just wondering Would i be ok just havin a couple of joints the night before or am i best just leaving it ! IE - try and not smoke any 24 hrs before or sommat like that !

i thought there might be peeps among us who have been thru the same ! what about after the op ! is it cool to smoke then !

any thoughts wud be greatly appreciated !

i crack on as usual, the anaesthetist will ask you relevant questions before he/she decides what drugs to use and how much, he'll also ask about smoking. just be honest. he knows about drugs.

You'll be ok toking the night before and straight after the op is ok too

think i would be lost without a smoke as im so nervous about gettin it done ! beats bein straight and worried ! just dont like the idea of droppin asleep ! will tell the anesatist about wat ive smoked
