I am getting a homebox with a 400watt cooltube, and all the rest but i think thats the main jist of it.

Im looking into growing two different strains at the same time, one a "couch locker" for my night time smoking when i want to just chill out.

And a day time joint that still stones me but doesnt couch lock me as i am a busy person though the day.

Well to the point, which two strains do that but can still be grown together. Same height, flowering time, all that stuff.

I know its specific but since you guys are so knowledgeable i thought i might as well ask.

from seed will always have variation in finish times. for a start i would go for cheap but good beans, such as nirvana ice. good relaxin and happy high without bein knock out. leda uno or somethin is cheap and real good upper but personally not a daytime smoke cos makes me real para when out and about with people am not comfy with.

Ello Aiden,before I start with the strains the Homeboxes are the original and best tents so good buy....But 1 peice of advice. If you haven't already Don't buy a 'cooltube' reflector but try to get a better air-cooled light package or reflector as they are made of too thick glass,lose lots of lite due to pathetic reflector and although they are better than no air-cooling they really are shit and not very cool.I if you shop around you can get a 'Sputnik' or similar bettr real aircooled shade for only £20 more or so(try spam hydro shop). If you have it already...upgrade shade next time round,You will thank me!
Right to buisness...You want an 'up' daytime mostly Sativa and a Bedtime Knockout strong mostly Indica that can share a room and have similar 12/12 time to each other...You don't want much do ya... Only kidding I would have exactly the same demands if I had only space for a 2 strain setup.
If you are happy to wait 9 or 10 weeks of flowering the choices are better than 8 week or earlier strains(not many kwik but up strains they are all Stoney). If we go for medium stretch strains rather than very short we can match up 2 very diff tastes and buzzes for ya,but some strains wiil veg slower than others whatever you do and can go in at different heights to finish the same. Good UP HIGH medium height and bud time strains are:

Off the top of my head I suggest SuperSilverHaze(NL5/SK#1/Haze) from Shanti(the Don)@Mr.Nice for your daytime(It's what I smoke when making music or tending my plantlets)because Cannabis Hybrids don't get much better than SSH.
To complement for evening might I suggest another 'Legend' White Russian(AK47/WW) from Simon at Serious seeds he's another quality breeder and its one of the strongest medicines available and although not much Indica genetically it is Dreamy body weed and it's frosty like da snowman and tastes awesome. With both bthese strains as with all seeds you'll buy bar Sam's Skunk#1 you will find some difference in all the plants and the key is to pick the best and most suitable for a Mum plant to keep so that all your clones from it are exact the Phenotype you want from each strain each time,garunteeing similar results and timings and therefore your 2 fave strains all the time forever(or as long as you have one clone of each) I have a 66day Phenotype of each which although they are totally different looks,high and taste they can grow next to each other as long as SSH goes in a little bit shorter than WR as SSH stretches a tiny bit more due to Haze in it.
Just my two penneth though as you can find great combo's from lots of seeds if you pick well so smoketest some of ALL the plants at first harvest and if you've kept a clone of each from veg then you can keep the best as Mums. REMEMBER cheap seeds are CHEAP SEEDS You get what you pay for in this game and if you keep Mum's you only need to buy once and any strain is cheap if you grow it for years anyhoo(19 years growing and 100's of crosses has taught me this) You did ask so I'm telling.....GOOD LUCK AND LIGHT JBo from URBN TRCHMLGY

Homebox aren't the best anymore, budboxes are much better.

I'm getting my set up in a few weeks so i havent got it yet so is the budbox better than homebox? Or is that down to personal preference?

I can only speak about budboxes - the new range are pretty good but easy to break the zips! Lots of access for vents, cables, intakes etc.

Yeah i heard the zips go really easy.

don't fancy getting one just for the zip to break.

The main thing about the zips, is if you're careful you shouldnt have a prob. The thing that makes them easy to break is the casing is pretty much made to precision fit the frame.

I know because I busted one of my zippers, but was fine. You have to make sure the material has enough reach before you zip it up, if not the zipper part will become unattatched from the material. What I do is I when im working in there I dont open it up too much. I keep it zipped right past the front posts of the frame. That way when I zip up I never have to zip around a corner. (Not sure if Im painting a good picture here). Luckily the piece that was a bit ripped was on the bottom of the tent and on the back corner where its pressed against a wall, so even if light leaked, its not going anywhere anyhow.

Either way best thing you can do is just be patient with putting it together, and if you have someone you can trust to help you thats always a plus.

I've not seen the other tents, but I have a dark room tent and I really rate it. Good zips, seems strong and built to last, no problems so far at least..
