How do

Long time no post.

What's the current opinion about KC Brains seeds?

I'm watching the pennies at the moment so I ordered some Mango by KC Brains for my next grow, £9 for a pack of ten.

Last grow was SS AK47 about 55 quid for the pack, decent enough smoke and stunk the house out during grow time, but the plants I grew before that (motarebel's herijuana) cost £12 for 12 seeds and was all in all a better plant imo.

So in a smallish amount of time I know more £ doesn't necessarily mean better spliff.gif (although I'm not knocking the ak because it still did the job)

Should I expect a nice bargain come septemberish or a garden full of herm-afro-dites?

cheers

KC brains used to get the same shit flung at him that Nirvana's seeds did in the past, and just as undeservedly IMO. I've grown out quite a few of both vendors seeds in the past, and never been disappointed. I get sick of people saying 'you get what you pay for' with absolutely no evidence to back that up. I once grew 27 plants, half of which were Nirvana and KC and the other half Dutch Passion and Spice of life and there was no discernible difference in the quality of the end product to be honest. I got just as much phenotype variation from the Dutch Passion as the Nirvana and KC, with only the SOL having anything approaching uniformity.

Whether price is an issue of not I would say go for it. Leda Uno is very high on my future grow list.

i agree. never had any problems with k.c. makes me wonder how some of the others can charge so much. seeds arnt hard to make, andsome being £5 each amazes me. making all my own this year, so ditched the dealer years (maybe decades) ago. now finally ditching the bas**rd seed rip off companys too. fek em. chris.gif

dunno though,
i recently germed 20 Kc brains ,and 20 nirvana
(i decided to go for the cheap option due to the fact of maybe having to move house soon and didn't want to pull down decent seeds(£50)
and i was right i have to move soon !!

but out of the seeds ,all nirvana's worked 20/20...all good

but the Kc brains gave me 3 out of one packet ,and 7 out of the other .....so 10/20

(they're ALL dead now anyhow as i have to move )

Cool

Hopefully I shouldn't have a repackaged bunch of sutton Geraniums then.

I'll do a diary, probably won't end it though.... rolleyes.gif

hi i was going to use leda uno for a little home made crossing. started 3, all lived to be males. got the other 7 out of the fridge, and none grew at all. i think it was my storage method. It was the first time i used the fridge to store seeds.
the thing is, same might have happen with a pack of soma. who knows. i will deffo try again, and at the price i'll get 3 packs to pick my pheno from. I wouldn't be able to replace a pack of soma wink.gif

have none of you used dr hemps seeds... i find them better than both nirvana and kc. same sort of price too.

Put 10 Mango seeds into mud 48hrs ago, nothing as yet but I'll keep ya posted.

Never heard of those nuhtz
Boo Boo
I have had better success with Nirvana that dutch passion or sensi and at a fraction of the cost, alot of seed companies repackage others seeds n charge more, dont believe they hype, an awful lot of hacking going on out there

i found KC Brains mango to be excellent..big buds all over it and pretty good smoke..
so pretty to look at i would pull up a seat and just look at its perfect christmas tree shape..add some composted cow manure, wood ashes and water it in,then throw pennies all around it to keep snails off..it was the 1st plant i wanted to check on every visit to the
garden..
