I have come across this fan speed controller is this any good with a RVK100?

It looks to be a dimmer-type one, which might work but make your fans/the unit buzz - impossible to give any more info without knowing more about the unit.

how much is it? you can buy fan dimmers from b&q for about 10 quid, although you'll have to wire it, it's only one wire in one out.
