will it work without buzzing, its for a 150mm ruck. this guy has quite a few of them, and has been selling them for weeks now, so he's probably got plenty.

here's the bummff he wrote about them

At what price am a missing something here?

N a dont think it's worth a go if u dont want any buzzing, a really doubt it will be a transformer type.

it really depends whether its transformer based or whether it cuts the phase. Transformer is good it shouldn't make it buzz but if it cuts the phase it will prob make it buzz its like a dimmer switch.

that's a dimmer type mate, it will probably be ok, it's usually the smaller fans that have the worst problems, but this is no guarantee, if you can afford to get a different one if it does buzz then it's probably worth a try if it's cheap. if it has to be right first time i wouldn't bother

its only a fiver so i may take a gamble to see if its up to the job, but im also watching a variac as that seems to be the better option in the long run thumbsup.gif
