Been using Ionic for my Waterfarm and been well happy with the grow side of it, my girl went into flower 2 weeks ago and was moved onto flowering nutes about 4 days ago!!

Looking good for it with plenty of bud development so well happy!!

Thing is I have also got the Booster and can't find much info on the use, it seems to recommend using it for 4-5 weeks during flower and stop using it a couple of weeks before harvest!!

So, she is 2 weeks in, will be ready in another 7 weeks, so if i start using it now for 4-5 weeks (at a lower dose than recommended) and stop using it about 2 weeks before the chop!!

Does that sound about right?? Don't want to overdose her on the Bloom side of things!! unsure.gif

I was led to believe its a potassium / phosphorus supplement much like PK 13/14 or a very basic bloom stim
I would watch for overdosing if your going to use PK as well or any other nutes apart form theres.
cheers

I am probably going to show my stupidity now lol.gif,

I have done 3 hydro grows, and always use Ionic ferts, the way I did is was to use 'grow' during vegging and 'bloom' during flowering, and only flushed in the last 7 days using nothing but ph balanced water ( plus whatever shite the local waterworks puts in ). Always had a decent smoke, if nothing that would ever win cream-of-the-crop. Probably read the info 10x then immieditly forgot what it said wink1.gif

The Booster is definatley for use during flowering, I use the Ionic Grow for the veg period and seems to be doing a pretty good job!!

I believe the Booster is just a PK, so I will be using it at less than half strength, says 1-2ml per litre and I will probably use 0.5ml per litre!!

Will start using it next time I change the res and stop using it at least 2 weeks from the end!!

That got me somewhat worried, so I went back and read all the labels to try and be sure. I have mainly ionic grow, and iconic bloom, as well as a smaller supply of ionic boost. The instructions say
'Use Grow for vegattive growth'
'Use bloom for flowering'
'Use boost throughout the flowering period'

Can post a picture if anyone is confused/wrecked as I am.

I've been on Ionic for years...

I usually whack 35 ML of BLOOM into 5 Liters of water

Then add 5 ML of BOOST on top, they love it, and I blast them with that right from their first or second night of 12 / 12

I usually do well. smile.gif

Hi i on my 4th grow now,it will be the second time ive used a recirculating DWC.
i use clonex,formulex and ionic grow,bloom.
i start with formulex at 0.5ec for my clones
Then i move onto ionic grow at 0.6 ec raising it to 1.2(depending on how the ladies are doing)
Then after a week into 12/12 i switch to ionic bloom at 1.0-1.2 ec.

Just to keep it simple, assume my tap water is 0.0 ec and ill adjust later.

Oh allways adgusting ph between 5.7-6.5

Now this grow im going to use some ionic boost, now the bottle says 1ml per litre, which seem high to me for DWC.
If im using bloom at 1.2 ec what effect will boost have on the ec.
ie,if i was to use 1ml per litre what could i expect the ec to read or what is the ideal ec reading once boost is added.?

I rely on my meters alot so i need to be sure what adding boost will do to my ec readings and ph.

Also my last dwc grow never had a routine flush of the system as i had some problems with roots blocking pipes which caused the system to over flow emptying the system,so that was my flush sessions.
This time ive taken steps to ensure roots dont grow in the pipes,so ill be wanting to flush the system during this grow, but im unsure as to when and how many times, obviously ill flush before harvest.

Can anyone who has used recirculating dwc share thier experiences.
Thx
