well after my current grow iv been thinking of getting a large budbox (100cmx100cmx180cm) but was wondering what fans would be best for this tent, i was thinking of a 5"RVK low power for extraction with a filter and a 4"RVK for intake also low power.
was planning on putting a 400w hps in there.
do these sound right or would i be better off with the high power fans?

Hmmmm. I've got a 1x1x2m budbox. Running an airforce 125 extraction with odorsok and 5" ruck intake, BUT running a 600W light, so maybe you'll be ok with that setup. I doubt it would work for my 600 watt lamp though... The airforce manages to keep things cool enough at full speed when light is on, just about wink1.gif

sup dude

i got the bud box large new model im using a 5 inch ruck hi powered version and its working fine and im using the passive intakes but i guees when summers here itl be a different story but by then il most prob get a 6 inch fan and use that for extraction and the 5 for intake and also go for the hi powered version fans there much better than the low powered ones they move more air

good luck dude

i had a 4 inch intake witha 5 inch extractor which i bought as a package deal. now bearing in mind this is my first grow, 3 weeks into flower and i just didnt feel i had enough control over what was going on. few days ago i bought a 6 inch fan so now ive got 5 in and 6 out to filter. now im feeling better about control but pissed of that i didnt know this before. i would have upgraded the package and paid the difference. i can now stand next to my tent and cant smell a thing.so.....at the end of all that what am i saying......if u have the extra few quid then go for bigger now rather than be unhappy and feel like your always paying out twice for something. obviously you will need a bigger filter, but, again, its gonna feel better in the long run. im also gonna pay out another 100 quid on a controller which will lessen the usage and save me on my leccy and paranoia about the sound of the 6 inch fan.

hope this helps

sorry if i went on

Dude, I've got the 1mx1mx2m Homebox with only a 4" rvk exhaust and passive intake, 400W HPS and I have no problems.
