Please be patient with me. New member here and very unfamiliar to this style of board silly-ness. San francisco resident here. I've grown several times outdoors (successful but not huge) and once indoors before (successful except for the bust one month before flowering).

Now I have a Sea of Green room going and going quite well. Still some bugs to be ironed out. I run two 600W HPS on light rails over two trays. each tray holds a maximum of 21 plants in 3 gallon buckets. I average about a half pound a month harvest and expect that number to move on up to a full pound a month, 4 ounces every week.

My room is L shaped with the two flower trays covering the "bottom" of the L and the door and veg/cuttings room at the top of the L. Pictures to follow. Custom mix soil using bat guanos, earthworm castings, maxicrop seaweed mix, greensand and dolomite powder.

Air exhaust is a 10 inch carbon filter with a 8 inch in room boost fan and a 6 inch main fan on the chimney (outside the room). I have a filtered room inlet. I have two humidstats controlling those fans but will get a much nicer controller (controls everything) soon. Two main oscillating fans over head and smaller oscillating fans (tall tubes) scattered around.

well since the bud photos section are down, I thought I would post my bud shots here. These are the latest. Plants are in 3 gallon buckets. The can of Monster Green Energy is 16 oz. Sorry. To lazy to do the metric equivalents.

So I'm getting a new, high end controller for me room. Does anyone have experience with these units (pictured below)? Tips, advice? I'm in the US.

Thanks Hughie! I plan to expand from two trays to three and to add CO2 eventually. Perhaps by this summer.

So i have the new controller pictured above. It cost me a pretty penny but hopefully will enable me to have more free time (me house is a mess!) and standardize my grow environment. In addition I can add CO2 later. I'll post updates as it gets installed and how that affects my room. Specifics about the controller and how it interacts with me lights is in it's own topic/thread under the lighting section.

As you can see from this series, my room situation is going better. Things have stabalized for the most part and I am ironing out the last few issues (mostly soil). I think I have that licked now. The next month or so will tell. Meanwhile, enjoy.

These two images are of my two trays. The image on the left is one tray with it's light overhead (on a linear rail) The brown oscillating fan is between the two trays. The light on the left moves from left to right. The tray on the right (only half is seen) is perpendicular to the one on th eleft and the light runs back and forth in relation to the left tray.

SOG, the plants closest to the brown fan are the oldest.

so too late for photos and I have work early in the morn (yuck). But a head sup as I will post two pictures sunday me thinks.

I'm exclusively a cuttings/SOG guy. I get cuttings from medical dispensaries here in san fran. It looks like in a recent cutting that just got transplanted to its veg bucket, there is another pot plant growing! How exciting! However I have no idea how it got there. I get it out and grow it seperately. Maybe it will be male and I can start a new strain! mmmm, JediXBluberry!

The other issue i am having is bright yellow dots on some of my major sun leaves. Not quite sure what it is all about but it is a small worry at best as it is not spreading beyond an initial flush in my veg room.

so anyway, pictures tomorrow!

going to be starting very soon randalizer got a good selection of seeds, i had to temp stop my grow set up due to a visit, managed to finish my grow though luckily, my piccies are in budshots m8.
