anyone had any experience of the france hotel, or hotel france, or french hotel or something? got a 4 night stay there this summer. cheers ppl

well its booked, 4 nights in july plus flights, taxes etc. for 2 £560. dont know how the smoking ban is going to affect things though.

i think i read somewhere that for smoking a joint coffeeshops would have to build a seperate smoking area where no food is served and where staff do not have to access (but who would clean the ashtrays, etc.?) but the smoking of pure cannabis would not be affected as the smoking ban only applies to tobacco.

I stayed at the France about 10 years ago and didn't find much wrong with it. You're probably gonna spend most time outside of your room anyway so I wouldn't worry too much about smoking. You'll more than likely get a warning before getting thrown out so just blaze til you're told not to.
