Full Version: Help With My 4 Week Passion#1's
UK420 > Cultivation > Problem Solver > Sick Plants

Hi all, this is the first time I have posted anywhere since OVERGROW was taken offline so please be gentle,

I have 19 Passion#1's from Dutch Passion which have been vegging now for three and a half weeks under 2x200 watts eco lights (Blue) for 24 hours a day. Oh and they only get watered when the pots are all but dry,and in small amounts
All has been going fine untill yesterday when i notised that the middle of at lest half the plants leafs where a slightly lighter green than the rest. and today i have found at least half of these with some kind of yellow spots appering(MAYBE EVEN A RUST COLOUR).
Looked in the cannabis bible and the way i took it seems it may be a Mag problem. Went to local grow shop and the guy said that it would not be this as the plants are to young. He told me to keep watering them with nothing but ph bal water and leave it 5 to 7 days and see what happens, but i'm scared that this could make matters worse rather than better. if it was lighter green leafs yesterday and yollow spots today.

The plants where repotted about 4 days ago but nothing but pot sizes have changed, the same soil was used, the same ph water (no feeding, the soil is special mix from grow shop and should have everything they need for a while,I THINK...)

Plase take a look at the pics

a couple of the leafs going lighter (zoom in if you can),then
the spots that have come,then
all my plants (left side plants have no problem/right side plants have either lightering of the leafs or some small amount of spotting,
and to finish all the plants in the veg room

not the best camera so please bear with me if the shots are not that good,

i would just like to say thanks in advance for any help/wisdom passed this way

Peace................. Dex

Ps. i can only upload one photo at a time so again please bear with me

It may well be the start of a fungal infection - some leaves are fine atm. I'd mist with Murpheys Copper anyway. It won't hurt.

Keep your eyes open for it spreading.

Thanks for the reply but could you expand a little?

what would be the out come if it is a fungle invection? would that be night night for that plant? how did i get this infection (this must be the 15th time ive grown for seed and never had a problem) Is it something to do with the grow room, soil, light pattens or even because they were fem seeds.

And most important can it SPREAD,

Many thanks again

fungle infections left untreated could spread, killing leaves and then possibly the whole plant.

infections can come from anywere, from poor air circulation to just being that time of year. very hard to pin-point were it came from.

take a look at my thread http://www.uk420.com/boards/index.php?showtopic=129696 this is LSF, checked plants 2 days prior to the outbrake and now its everywere, also read replys as some may help you (especialy felix_dzerjinski thread with the link, i just orderd all that stuff myself to help

i looked at that stuff when i heard about mine

* For use on all ornamental garden plants <----- not really one that you should think about putting on something you smoke or it would be ok for food plants as well

True but people on this site have recommended it.

Thanks for all the replys people,

The plants have started to sort them selfs out ( thank God), there does not seem to be any more changes in color or any more spots forming. I think the problem may of been down to the new soil in which the plants where repotted was to wet. After a couple of days the plants where not getting any worse and the soil started to dry out. Then after a couple of days after this i feed them with a really really weak feed of fish-mix from bio bizz. now the plants are fine and doing really well. They have now just about out grown the vegg room and this weekend are being taken to there OUT DOOR site. I know its still a little early in the year but thats just the way its worked out this year, these plants have grown quick.

Oh well many thanks again for the replys that where sent and please feel free to drop in on my new thread which will follow these plants on there outdoor adventure. (starting in a couple of days

Peace.............Dex........
