I would say that variety wise it is down to personal preferance as different people like different types of bud. Yield wise I would say that there are plenty out there that would equal or out perform what you currently are growing. Alot of it comes down to various factors like the ability of the grower. How the plant is being grown, whether it is in compost or in a hydroponic set up. The size of the plant before you put it into flower. The growing environment and how good or bad it is, etc etc.
For what alot of plants lack in yield and quantity, they can often make up for in the quality of their smoke. What you really want is a big yielder that is a mind blowing smoke.

DP Power plants are high yeilders, Big Bud, Cheese fermitised also boasts yeilds higher than the power plants, Skunk11 was quite a high yeilder as well I found, only problem was the skunk11 they hermi'd, got 2oz dry per plant and they were chopped 5 weeks early. Also the skunk11 can take 11 weeks which is long and daunting.

Personally im going to try white widow or white russian on next grow or perhaps both, sounds divine and have not had it in years, well white widow, never tried the russian.
