Hi-I am a certified orthodox tight-arse, If i could suck the air out with me gob I would, lol.gif.
However, I do believe in buying crtain correct things, lights and a good fan, but i dont like to part money for the ducting kit again, Please, does anyone know of a good cheaper way of getting around buying the ducting, Ive got the RVK Ive got the C/f, but i can't for the life of my think of a way around the ducting, I thought of a rolled up piece of magizine paper or card, taping it down on the fan etc etc, this is one peice of DIY that has me stumped, i thought of joining the fan to the filter directly but theres a small difefrence in diameter, even though both are listed as 100mm, ther dont directly connect and lock in well.
I know theres someone on here thats gotta be as tight as me......

you can get like 1m of plastic ducting for £2.99, tight arse biggrin.gif

no problem with fitting filter directly to fan, you just need gaffa tape to air-seal it.

do things proper, reap the rewards.

every little helps

Oi Oi, u cheeky sod, lol.gif..
To be honest, what it was was this, i just got back in from walking all the way to Wickes Diy shop, they have 100mm ducting, pvc white but was charging 11.99 for it and throwing in some screws, clip and raw plugs and calling it a tumble dryer hose kit, they had no other form of this type of ducting available elsewhere in the shop, I was fumming!

So i thought why not ask here, lol.gif.. Since then me bird told me to look online, just got myself 10m of silver ducting for, wait for it...... 11quid Total bargin i thinks. Okay so its unisulated but its that silver aliminuin style stuff, I only needed a few meters but thought why not, I used her card and that was that, even bigger bargin!

Cheers anyway lads, Oh bye the way, thanks for the comment about just joining it together, Fan+CF, I could see that i could have made it fit if i tried but didnt know if it would muck up the system, i thought the extraction pull of air might be slightly less as it implied a 'shotgun' look about it, (throw out the middle man and join dierectly together) doesntalways work in life, I thought this might be the same...

still, it just goes to show, moan like fuck, look upset as hell, (not to mention a 2mile walk) and someone somewhere will take pity, Im so happy.....
