lots of big edible crab around now starting to peel.the year before last i had 14 in about 3 hours the smallest being a pound and a quarter.

Hiya, I go for peeler crab, its a bit early yet for them to be bang on. The hen's peel at this time of year. When there bang on i can pick 400 a tide. Ive still got about 200 in the freezer off last year

i went looking for bait yesterday ,found a few green crab peelers (large males)
did notice there were a lot of edible crabs this year ,but small ones

also dug a couple of king rag ,hard digging there still quite deep at the moment

iv picked some big reds along the gower during march time.then the green ones would peel in numbers from late april on.aint had much time this year YET
the weathers mad ,seasons are out of sync.wonder if the bass move that far.
mates work the nets theyv caught more bass than cod last month
