Looks to me as that is exactly your problem, the light too close or poor air transfer

tomorlite you reckon that could do anything bish

You shouldn't need to feed them in veg, the compost should have all they need. That could well be nute burn. Though they do look a bit big for those pots, how long have they been in there?

Does that mean your running a 400watt bulb in a 600 ballast or have you changed the ballast also ?

But either way, your temp problems are due to your extraction, you cant run that room on PC fans, it just wont work...

edit: And to me your pics look over fed, probably in P or K (too stoned to figure out which)... could be wrong tho, just my 2p on the posted problem.

Dont spray plants with water.

Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P) and Potassium (K).

edit again: I didnt read your profile properly, and missed your extraction. If the 4" extraction you are running is a RUCK/RCK etc then the intact PC fans wont help much. Turn them off and run the intake passive.

Passive intake means not using fans to bring air in (your PC fans), but letting the extraction pull the air through the intake holes (your 4" ruck ?)

leroy
use your 4" fan as your extract and use these as passive intakes Click to view attachment
i've got 4 at the bottom of my gr about 6" off the floor.

as for the npk thingy, i think he means it's far to early to be feeding them anything, there's enough nutes in the compost to last for about 2 weeks after potting.

how long have they been in those pots unsure.gif they look desp for a pot up

I don't agree about turning the PC fans on the intake off, IME they do help the intake quite a bit. But if your intakes are very small making them bigger would help. I woouldn't use those vent covers, they restrict the airflow far too much.

Average temp isn't all that much help, you need a high/low thermometer, cost about £10.

Deffo (N) burn, coupled together with what others have said - high temps, lack of Co2...& whatever you do, don't feed them Tomorite again until they need feeding, which ain't for a while.

You need to sort your environment out first & foremost, or you won't be growing anything mate.

thats what mine looked like when my fan went down lights on. by time i discovered it i had those brwn patches, but nothing on the tips.

A peak of 90 F is more than 32 C, which is too high. Anything over 30 (86 F) is too much, and really you should be aiming for a top of 28 C (82 F).

And everything Bish said. You need more airflow.
