My little basement jungle innit
I'm currently growing Nirvana's B52, a strain I've had great sucess with in the past. Out of 5 seeds germed 4 were female. Three (Marjorie, Vera and Enid) have grown up into squat indica looking bushes with lighter green leaves -first plants seen in video. This is the beginning of their 3rd week of flowering, and this is how I remember B52's growing from the last time round. One of these has grown into a 2 headed monster, pointed out on video, the main stem split at about the 3rd node and now it's growing 2 main colas. 2 for the price of 1 woop
The 4th plant (Sandra) is certainly a different phenotype but I'm beginning to think it might be a different strain altogether (3rd plant seen on video, to the right of the flower chamber). It's growing straight up with very short almost vertical side branches, and is a good 4 inches taller than the others though they're all exactly the same age. Its leaves are a darker green than the others. Still looks indica-like to me but a different , straighter sort of indica....Oh and all its leaves are sticky already. Not with proper trichomes but some kind of resin coating. Haven't sprayed it with owt but water. I'm excited to see how it turns out
Does it look familiar to anyone? Has anyone had a similar experience?I've been reading other Nirvana seed threads and it seems people have had mixed results, well I have never bought seeds from any other seedbank as I can't face paying £50+ for seeds that ain't guaranteed to be any good
but I *have* had similar mixed results. First lot were Top44, these were excellent, out of 10 beans 9 were female and they all came up. Great bud although it was 50 days at least not 44.
Next were something called "Babooshka" which came free with the top44. Still the oddest shaped weed I ever grew, literally a massive round babooshka of small buds like a tumbleweed, can't remember germ rates or m/f ratios but ended up with 2 strong fems. Grew in DWC and one just died while friend was looking after them, other
one in same system fine, still a mystery. Good smoke but got pollinated somehow and was seedy. Must have been an experimental strain they were trying out cos I've never seen it anywhere before or since.
Next were the B52 and these were ace. 10/10 germed, 8 fem as I recall, Small plants fat buds good taste. Took cuttings /kept mother and these became highly prized in the hood, I swapped some with different peeps for Cheese, NYCD and JH so I reckon someone must still have that plant going somewhere.
Free wit da B52 came some Skunk #1. At least that's what the bag was labelled as. Turned out to be finest rope making seed producing HEMP!
Gahh what a waste of 6 weeks, "i'm sure it'll start making resin soon...." no it never did. Shame cos the buds were fat as my forearm! 
After that I tried Ice. These seeds were actually marijuana, but I couldn't get it to grow. I'm not the most conscientious of cultivators but i can usuallly get decent results even despite my laxity. These plants just couldn't handle the occasional dryings out and underfeedings, and produced a small and crappy harvest in that same room as some of the B52's and Cheese which did just fine.
After that I went over to exclusively using clones. But I stopped growing for a bit and got out of the loop, so back to Nirvana beans it was. And the results are looking good so far
