Here is my grow-drobe, its actually an old tv cabinet picked up from the second hand furniture shop, costed me 15 Big Ones rofl.gif whoever said buying a tent is cheaper has got it all wrong.
Took me two days to cut what i needed to and put my stuff in there( with kind help of the missus). I got fed up with the black and white reflective so i just sello taped all of it in there, thought that bathroom sealant may have too many chemicals in it for the plants whistling.gif This is my first grow-cab, but im quite impressed by it, and since i put the black and white curtains in, almost no leaking light! The light is a 150 Watt HPS, and is plenty for me, because in the end there will only be two mamma's sharing this sexy little place.

At the moment there are 4 pots, as im hoping to get two fems out of the four, and ive got a standard household CFL in the reflector socket and one CFL hanging from the ceiling just for some extra lumens.

There is no fans or extraction but by tuesday there will be : two pc 4" fans blowing air in, and a 4" extraction fan coupled with a carbon filter, the good thing about tv cabs is that they already have air vents in them ( old TV's needed it, new ones too ) so mounting all of this will be a good hour job, instead of a two- three hour job (Yes, i like to take things one step at a time if you thinking im slow).

Any thoughts?

What do "stealth locks" look like and could they be fitted on mine?
estpaul
Open to suggestions ?

Hi fella, nice looking set up. All you need is a Sky box on it and no-one would eva know rofl.gif

Luv it rofl.gif

I hope you labelled both sides though because if you didn't then they will see thier names through the paper and Lehcar and Yleek at least are going to be very confused. Thats how hermis start a bit of gender confusion and they split it down the middle!

I prefer to label them clearly with male names and a pick of the last male victim in my growroom in its death throws...... just in case they are undecided 13.gif
estpaul
yeah i get what your saying, but i think female names are better wink.gif encourages them to find the inner female (gunna go and put names on both sides so they know who they are rofl.gif but i dont enjoy chopping a plant i could have been smoking spliff.gif

Nice and stealthy ph34r.gif , think I might have to have a look for a cabinet like that for my vegging room.

Good luck with your grow wink.gif
estpaul
cheers buddy, took a bit of elbow grease to get it the way i wanted it, and to get it so it would still be rigid. By the way, purple stems mean the temps are too low, right? unsure.gif

nice setup bud , i have that exact cabinet in my house , might have to sweet talk the mrs lol.gif j/k she would kill me.

Do you? whered you get it? i found it in a second hand shop, well my mum did, and i payed her to let me have it biggrin.gif she went mad when i got out the handsaw and was making a mess of it everywhere rofl.gif the problem with these cabs are that they arent very rigid after the shelves have been taken out and they need brackets to reinforce them.

Anyway, cheers for dropping by wink.gif

gr8 job man, nice idea to use cab other way than with tv ;]
i must consider doing the same.. just perfect and very (!!!) stealthy

Looks like a nice 'drobe mate.

My only question would be, are you just planning on growing dwarfs? All the plants I've grown so far tend to be over 6ft tall.
andyr
Very nice m8.

You should sell 'em. There's money in there cabs disguise.gif

I'd buy one !

I thought so too, cheers, today i went out and got a few fans to blow air in to the chamber from the vents, i got em for free because a friend of mine is a huge computer guy who knows everything there is to know, you ask what is RAM? and goes on for hours and hours at a time. so yeah since he builds computers for fun hes got spare fans here and there smile.gif

Air vents in old tv's man, looks inconspicous, better than silver ducting on display i think tongue.gif light baffle hasnt been placed yet, but i will stick a bit of cooker hood material, have already ordered it.

Have duct'd em to the wall, since there will be the cooker hood material but i dont want to screw em down yet.

Seems to be your growing sats, indicas only( the strain ive chosen: hindu kush) grow to about 90 cm at most. i have to agree i dont have 90 cm, but i have around 75 cm, and have plans to train the plants to be even shorter. hopefully this works out, i will follow blabs diary to help me wink.gif
and the fact that this will be a two plant garden, has enough yeild to satisfy my needs for 2 months ph34r.gif .

Yeah? how much would you pay for this, all kitted out with a 250W hps, 4" Ruck fan and coupled carbon filter?
drumski
nicely done mate biggrin.gif

i'd pay like £180-250 for something similar, then again the proof is in the product at the end of the effort...if you prove it can work, then you may find you have a customer base wink1.gif

I think that i will be bending these plants, just so i can get more yield in this small amount of space, or would i get more yeild by just letting them grow straight, what do you think?

I wouldn't dare say anything about yield but I guess bending is indeed a better option with your space
rebirth
in seeing your space i would say training and topping will be neccesary for optimun yeild the seedlings look good there pots are a little large but they wil grow into them. remember heat and lack of light will cause plants to stretch which is somthing you wish to avoid in a space like that. it looks damn neat that cabinet! good luck with it. rebirth

i can't see anywhere what strain it is...
you have some kind of dwarves strain?

yeah Keely has stretched quite a bit, but her leaves have grown to 5 and a half cm diameter aswell so i think its fine, to correct any stretching i will pot deeper when i am repoting. about a week or two into veg i will start training my bitches rofl.gif give some nice curves to their straight skinny bodies smile.gif cheers rebirth.

The strain is hindu kush

At first i wanted to grow Top44 because of it being short and quick flowering time, but i heard that the smoke was abit shite so i decided to get something that was indica and had a good smoke. I actually saw rebirths diary of it( the hindu kush), and i saw all those trichs and sparkly bits of thc and i decided thats what i want. it was at my local hydro store so i knew i wanted them.

Flowering: 45-50 days
Height: 105-125 cm
Yield: up to 95 gr

Since some of you lot refer to this as my diary, i will add some pics to entertain you cool.gif

Here is my calender, where i have marked out substantial events that have happened, also this helps me keep track of how old the plant is and when i need to switch light cycles.

Heres two more, dont they look cute? smile.gif

Since Lucy and Keely had really weak stems and toppled over i decided to attach them to a straw to help them grow straight and gather strength. Bit worried about Lucy because i had a look at her root system, and it looked fine, it was just the start of the stem that was really just like a rubber band, hopefully this straightening method will help her gather some strength, i also sprinkled Cavemans Bat Guano onto Rachels soil to give her those extra nutes she might need to body build herself, wont be starting the nutes for these girls till the 2nd or 3rd week of veg, otherwise it would be like giving steroids to a newborn baby (wow thats a sight id like to see) rofl.gif (not really)

Input and comments and advice is always warmly accepted!!! smile.gif
